I gotta say, running for governor of a Deep South state on a platform of, "frick everything else, the top priority of my administration will be to ensure we have a winning college football team," is so obvious that I can't believe no one else has ever tried it before.

Pure Chinese propaganda. Ask the teachers in north Louisiana who all got a $50,000 bonus what they think about AI.

Have you ever noticed you never see lsu people outside of Louisiana or Houston? They can’t survive outside of their little insular inbred population.

Is he gonna run on paved roads, good schools, and safe cities? LSU football is all they have. And it’s been an embarrassment for nearly a decade.

I know you are not very bright, but even you can do it.

He made a fool of himself and LSU doing the whole Kiffin hire process. I know you might find this hard to believe, but that fiasco received coverage in other media sources outside of this forum.

He got a terrible AD fired which was an instrumental move in getting Kiffin hired.
caring more about the temporary sound bite rather then the end successful result is a marker of a following sheep
Thinking a sitting governor interfering with a state university and getting the AD fired is a show of power and competence, is a marker of an uneducated buffoon.

Thinking that a state run institution that takes taxpayer money and its athletic program brings a massive amount of dollars into the state and capital city specifically isn’t under the purview of the governor is a very ignorant take. An easy, recycled one take sure. Ignorant nonetheless

Can’t refute the argument.
Not surprised.
The governor appoints the board of supervisors who approves the contracts and the AD answers to.
Louisiana state troopers who are under the governor provide security on campus.
LSU athletics has provided funds to the general university in the past.
But yeah the governor shouldn’t have an opinion your right.
Not surprised.

There is no debate. Your governor looked like an idiot during the Kiffin fiasco.
You claimed, "He got a terrible AD fired"
Then Verge Ausberry was hired as a replacement. You don't have a case, buddy.

They served him this week. We know why.
Ok, I'll bite.
Why would they decide to serve it this week? Where is the benefit for Ole Miss?

I think your governors role in this is part of the complaint the SEC has against LSU regarding LOIC. That's what people were suggesting before LSU filled it's roster anyway.
I doubt this particular tweet is anything of note, at least not in itself. Kind of like how salt isn't anything of note. But if you poor it on an open wound...

Isn’t there a Grisham novel about a jack leg attorney turned politician peddling the power of his office to keep insurance premiums inflated in his state ? I could be mistaken though.

Everyone should be mad at ole miss. They’ve basically ruined any attempt at amateurism in the sec. Now every sec school gets to pay these players.
