FWIW arty, our defense is light years better this year than last year.

I think that our D- Line is much improved over other areas of the defense. Tracey Rocker is a very good coach. I am glad we have him.

No offense to Vandy but he is not likely to take that offer if it were made. He's aiming much higher.

He will get offers other than Vandy this year. I think he would be a fool to come in at VAndy as a head coach and try to compete agianst the SEc talent with a very limited talent pool at Vandy. he will never get the atheletes he needs at Vandy to compete in the SEc.

Stanford is very competitive in the Pac 10. Why can't Vandy be the same in the SEC?

If Stanford was in the SEC their record would be much like Vandys.

Fail...no they wouldn't. They care enough about their football program to make it competitive. Miami and USC are similar in that they're private respected academic institutions like Vanderbilt. But they make exceptions to let football players in, and they spend money on their football programs. Vandy wants to enjoy the money made off the SEC, but has no desire to compete.

Visit Stanford's campus/facilities and then visit Vandy's. That will answer your question. Also, in the world of smart kid recruiting, a degree from Stanford is much > a degree from Vandy.

They have no desire to compete because it is too competitive here. The Pac 10 fields a few good teams year in and year out, but are never as brutal across the board as the SEC.

How many did Bama score on the barn last year? How many did they score this year?

You are a typical bammer turd.

Auburn was 3rd in scoring last year in the SEC (higher than bama) & 2nd in total offense.

Take your BS to the bama boards, gump.

I think you forgot to list your allegiance with a school? Purposeful or scared? Barner or Corndog?

BTW it's called SEC rant. So STFU.

They scored one more point at home and you cite that as a reason for our defense not being better than last year

And three of those points were the direct result of a turnover.

Did you not notice how after halftime adjustments your offense was going nowhere fast?

Freaking tool.

What does Vandy do with all the money they get from the SEC?

I knew this would be bumped.

We offered 1.3 million, Vandy offered a little more. At least I think those are the numbers.

We'll see what happens.

It's somewhere in the range of one million and 1.3 million.

Yeah fricking right, that is more money than Spurrier, Chizik, Dooley or Mullen. If you can provide a link I will apologize and kindly get the frick out.

You should have done a little more reconnaissance.

1.3 is way to much for a coordinator.

Why would he go to Vandy over Colorado? Colorado has a shot at a national title.

Colorado left the Big 12 and decided to shift it's recruiting to a California base. It will be years before they recover, if ever.
