The problem with comparing Vandy to Texas Tech is that Tech is a 3rd Tier school with the only admission requirement being a pulse.

Vanderbilt is a wee bit harder to get into.

Yep, he'll take it, only makes 500k at AU

WTF. He only makes $300,000 more than Cam?

No INTRAMURAL PROGRAM is going to pay 2.2 million for a freaking coach!

Colorado is considered one of worse coahing jobs in America and they have no money. They don't even have an indoor practice facility.

Color me crazy, but I think this would be a perfect fit for a Gustav.

Brainy guy, smart players, big city atmosphere, and at a time when UT is at their lowest point in decades - a great opportunity for him to prove he can be a legit HC.

I kind of hope its true. I like him a lot, and it would be good for the conference if he could make Vandy competitive.

Of course it would suck for AU, but we've got more important things to worry about...

For non-athletes, sure.

Football players, not so much.

Maltzan would be a great fit at vandy. He could probably do more with less then anyone. Dan mullen too.

And even 7 or eight wins and he goes to even a bigger school. If he can win at vandy, he is gone to a powerhouse program

Every SEC member gets an equal share of conference money. Vandy has to spend theirs on something...

By the way, is there even a link to this story anywhere?

Not doubting it's true, just would like some confirmation.

Vandy has the largest endowment in the SEC by far- they can pay whatever they want to pay

might be a good place for Malzahn to show he can be a head coach- a couple of bowl appearances at Vandy would get him another offer somewhere better

Exactly. One other inducement for Gus? Who is their "permanent" opponent from the West?

Look at what I quoted tard.

Then look at his post.

You see that "This post was edited on 11/27 at 1:59 p.m."

Guess what he edited after looking like a moron.

His spread offense might work at Vandy.

It was designed to help less talented spread the field and compete with teams with a little more talent.
