Does that mean we need you to vet all rumors first before posting?

When was he in the conversation for a job at Bama? I only ever recall people on message boards mentioning him as someone they'd like to target. I don't recall seeing anything about him actually being targeted by the school.

You don't read much, then, do you?

And you say it was only message board fodder?
These are all links from the past 2-3 years in which Schumann has been linked to Alabama. Some of those links will show he was considered for the DC job by DeBoer. You didn't see any of this other than on the message boards? You should spend less time on the message bards.

All I see there is a bunch of opinions that Glenn SHOULD be considered. Do you have a link that supports your title? A link that shows he WAS interviewed and he DID turn down an offer?

1. It's not MY title. I am not the OP.
2. I responded to the poster that said Schumann to Alabama chatter was all message board fodder.
3. Can I clear anything else up for you? Because you seem extremely confused.

ETA
Here. Let me help. Here is the post I was responding to with the links:

Was he offerred? Serious question. I like Schumann a lot and at some point we need to get him in the fold back at Bama for the future.

He'll be ready to be the next Head coach at Alabama in 3years.

I hear all the rain in Alabama are Alabama fans tears after Saban retired, and the cold is from fans hearts when DeBoer was introduced. True?

UGA runs a 4-2-5 most of the time. Our defensive depth chart has 3 safeties and 2 CB's.

It’s a 3-4 and you changed up y’all’s personnel a lot this year to have the best players on the field. Which is why you usually ran a 3-3-5 or 4-2-5 bc your safeties and star were more important for flexibility.

Georgia has the depth and talent to run multiple defenses but is a 3-4 base. Deboer’s base is a 4-2-5. Sounds silly analyzing it like that but it is true.

“It tells us he's only leaving UGA for a head coaching gig.”

Yes. Nothing more or less.

Do you have 5 DBs left on the roster?

We could use a few more. But don’t worry, we won’t be looking to take them from LSU’s roster. You should be safe from anyone poaching any of your defensive backs.

Georgia's 3-4 shifts to a 4-3, 2-4, 5-2 or 3-3-5 depending on down and distance.

What does that tell you?

It tells you that things like money, stability, and opportunity are a hell of a lot more important than an alma mater.

as far as I know he didn't. He interviewed Robinson. If you've got something more than this post saying he was interviewed, feel free to share

If you want to be literal, why don't you acknowledge that we run both 3-4 and 4-3.

And in nickel, we run both 3-3-5 and 4-2-5.

We are fricking Georgia. We have personnel for all of it.

It is so stupid to have the 3 down front and 4 down front debate when we line up in even front a shite ton.
(The debate is about how often we are in MINT front which is a lot. But we were in Even Front more in 2023 than we had been in 4 years).

You linked a bunch of opinion pieces about why those people thought he should be in contention.

You know, message board fodder. Click bait. Whatever you want to call it.

Were those other message boards?

Everything is fodder.
But those opinions pieces were not opinions on message boards.
