We put in a special request to the SEC to avoid fans having to spend time in College Station if at all possible.

Imagine thinking Georgia needs protection from A&M.

Yes I am Tennessee has a greater tradition, been in the conference longer, doesn’t forfeit and not the pain in the arse that 8&forfiet is

So to repeat 8&forfiet belongs in tier 2 before Tennessee

So much deflection and not even remotely addressing the OP. Typical for this board.

Before you blame UGA, UGA was paired with Aub., Fl. paired with LSU, & Tn. with Ala.. So, obviously those duos WILL PLAY MORE OFTEN than facing the other division's duo.

This sounds like LSU's coach who blamed Ala. playing Tn. more often than the Tigers did (obviously ignoring the lack of the Tide playing the Gators).

UGA went through those but most of those were with blown game Richt..
Since Kirby has been at UGA it has changed.
UGA was the best team in America by a wide margin last year and deserved to be national champions. I don't see them going anywhere. Not saying they are a dynasty but they certainly have won games that Richt didn't. They were the best team, they won the title, I saw no protection. whats wrong with the best team winning it all? The playoffs worked perfectly last year.

Georgia is a blown coverage in overtime away from having 2 National Championships in the Saban era against Saban. That’s pretty darn good for a coach in his first HC gig in the SEC against a mentor and the GOAT still shy his 47th birthday.

Btw, UGA lost at home to SC in 2019, why wasn’t TAMU able to beat them?

Kirby is also 3-1 in the playoff, 13-7 against the top 10, 8-0 against Jimbo Fisher, Dabo Sweeney, Jim Harbaugh, Luke Fickel, Lincoln Riley, & Bryan Kelley.

That’s decent

what does this even mean? you don't think GA was hands down the best team last year? if so you're a fool

Debateable given they split the series with Bama

Truth is they would just cancel if we played more.

And in 2019 we got the typical biased officiating that the SEC does late in the season protecting undefeated teams. Hey, I get it. We need to take care of our business and we will get the calls late in the season as well.

Your -2 rushing yards had something to do with that as well.

UGA is 60-32 against the West since the 1992 Division split. What is Aggy vs the West since they joined the league?

Edit: Aggy is 28-32 against the SEC West since joining the league. Maybe you should back up a touch.

I didn’t create the thread and I don’t know the guy that did

I know you didn't start the thread. But you did jump in there with a not so subtle jab. I mean you are the one that felt it necessary to post our failures first, then come back with our victories later.

quote:

All I did was present the facts. If you took offense to them, that’s not my fault.
Again, that's all I did too. I am curious. You post the negative about Georgia...and all you did was post the facts. I pointed out the positive side of Georgia and I am taking offense?
If you were not such a well known troll your cries of innocence might give me pause. If you were not such a well known troll.

quote:

I think everyone would want to see best vs. best regular season SEC matchups, regardless of division.

And I already agreed it would be nice if we played more, so I'm not sure what your point is. And, we have played A&M at least once.

quote:

I’d like to host Georgia at Kyle and be able to make a game in Athens, win or lose.
I typically don't go to the games, so i don't really care where they are played. I don't like the crowds, the traffic, the expense....I can sit in my recliner at home and get tons of replays, iced tea and snacks....for little to no money.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you weren't trolling. The problem with trolling a lot is people tend to assume you are trolling even when you aren't. It makes it hard to have a decent conversation when you get tired of trolling and it takes a long time to get back to being trusted.

It’s all in black and white. Tennessee is a historically stronger football program.

Look it up, it’s not even close.

I just went back to take another look. According to Sports Illustrated article from May of 2022, Tennessee is ranked #10 all time. 8&forfiet is not ranked at all. Alabama, Georgia and LSU are also in the top 15.

I love how OP wants to list UGA's record and recent results against Bama and LSU, but only wants to complain about the lack of a road trip to TAMU.

OP failed to mention that the last time TAMU beat UGA it was with Paul Bryant in 1954. The last meeting in 2019 was an arse kicking by UGA.

In the last 10 years, GA has played Bama ONCE in Tuscaloosa, (17 pt loss) ONCE in Baton Rouge (20 pt loss) and seven times in Atlanta where they are 1-6.

So, no road trip to A&M in 10 years, only two road trips total against LSU and Bama, and a record of 1-8 on the road or in the “championship”.

Maybe a NC will give Birmingham confidence the only decent team in the East can actually compete now on the road.

Don't care, had sex.
