Georgia can’t turn the ball over for the first thing. I know that’s pretty basic for every game but it will be an even bigger deal in this game.

If the Dawgs do commit any turnovers then it’s critical the do not let them turn into points. TCU had 2 NOT’s against Michigan I think. One I know for sure but I think they had 2 but either way that’s what won them the game. Michigan not only turned the ball over at critical times but they gave up points off those turnovers. That just can’t happen in this game because not only does it affect the scoreboard it gives TCU hope and belief that they can win the game. Those turnovers against Michigan just feed that team all the emotional energy they needed to win that game.

The last thing Georgia has to do to win is do not get in a track meet style game with TCU. I don’t know if Georgia is built to win in that style. Georgia needs to pound the ball slow the game down and let depth become a factor in the game. They can win easy doing that because they have a huge advantage in depth. If they get in a shootout that style favors TCU. Georgia just needs to pound the ball and wear those boys from TCU out. Plus a shootout will give TCU that emotional boost I was talking about earlier. Georgia needs to just make the game boring and do not feed TCU that belief they can win the game.

If Georgia can manage all that they should win going away. If they do not do that it will be a fun game to watch and we could get a huge upset.

The National Championship was decided last night when the New Year struck.

TCU is lucky to be in the game. They will get throttled. Georgia is Michigan with more talent.

I had not watched TCU until the other night. My first impression was that team feeds off mistakes. I knew Michigan was beat as soon as TCU took the first pass back for a TD. The energy and momentum in that game totally flipped in that moment. Michigan tried to come back but as soon as the game started turning into a shootout you could just see TCU feed into that too. If Georgia doesn’t watch it they could really lose this game taking this TCU team lightly. If they go there on a business trip and don’t shout themselves in the foot they should beat TCU down.

Yep, it was like the Georgia Bama SECCG in 2012. That was the NC game just like this year's OSU/Georgia game.

Better talented players on teams that failed to get into the playoff are Alabama, Texas A&M, OSU, Texas, USC, LSU, Clemson, and some other teams. See what I did here? Go back when all talented top 5 teams should be in the playoff every year. How come it doesn't go that way every year?

Most of the playoff berths are: Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Clemson.

Who has made it with a roster outside the top 25? 15? 10?

Talent matters.

TCU has been walking between raindrops all year. It ends in the finals. Their QB should have won the heisman as that team has 3 loses without him.

TCU has legit playmakers on D. They got a LB from the portal who is playing out of his mind.

We all thought TCU was going to get throttled by Michigan and we were proven wrong.

Best not to presume TCU is out of this until the game is out of reach or the clock hits 0.

We just won that style of game with an opposing team far more capable of playing that style than TCU will be against us.

This one won't be close.

I tried to tell everyone of my friends that if OSU brought their A game we would be in a fight until the end. TCU's A game is nowhere near Ohio's.

Agreed. TCU's A+ game will have them within a score headed into the 4Q, but that's the best case scenario for them, IMO.

Kirby is going to be all over the Dawgs in practice this week. A razor-thin win with tons of coaching points for the next game is Kirby's favorite kind.

Um. UGA won in that style against OSU.

UGA has won in every style imaginable, this year.

That's not really a brag, just the truth.

Am I misunderstanding you, or are you saying Texas A&M should have made the playoffs because they had a lot of talent on their roster?

You forgot where they’ll need all of TCU’s best skill players to be hurt - if they aren’t - Georgia will get blown tf out.

That’s what happens when they play teams that aren’t completely crippled

2018 LSU = Healthy = 20 point loss

2019 LSU = Healthy = 27 point loss

2021 A1abana = Healthy = 17 point loss

2021 A1abana (pt2) = Injured = 15 point smackdown

2022 LSU = Injured = Small/flukey win

2022 Ohio State = Healthy = Losing by 14

2022 Ohio State = Injured = 1 point lucky win

TCU don’t have the horses to keep up, Georgia is gonna win by 2 scores easily. Takes a special qb to beat a team like Georgia right now Ohio had that and choked at the end. Looks like LSU will have company in the 15-0 locker room.

TCU has a punchers chance. We have seen through history sometimes that happens. Reality tells me Georgia will be ready, control the LOS and slow the game down with their running attack. Something like 31-14.

UGA is pretty banged up. Playing 3rd and 4th string at OLB with very little playing experience going into the biggest game of the year. I don’t think this game is pre-determined.

They’re building this as David vs Goliath and if you don’t think a bunch of pissed off young men aren’t gonna take that personally I don’t know what to tell you. I think this game is closer than ppl think.

I'm much less worried about TCU, than I was OSU. I'm not discounting TCU, as competitors; I believe they can compete, with anyone. However, I've always felt like UGA/OSU was, basically, for the Natty, this year.

Georgia is gonna get their offensively. Getting pressure with four, spying Duggan, and, playing solid on the back end, wins the game, imo.
