I agree with this take. Lets not forget that UGA has the ability to play really bad, see Missouri and KY games. I think we will be ready, especially after getting a win in a game where we were outplayed.

I'm not sure why there are so many people thinking we're going to curb-stomp TCU. They are a very solid football team. As we've learned since the 4-team playoff began, frauds are exposed in the semi-finals, and TCU is no fraud.

Georgia has nothing at all to worry about. Zero. They will beat TCU easily. Best thing for UGA between now and game time is to get rested up. Wouldn't even watch too much TCU film. Keep their heads clear. Georgia should play their game and focus only on that, and they'll cake-walk to a championship.

Georgia should focus more on inviting a bunch of recruits to the game. Make sure those guys are taken care of. Spend the time making sure they know how great it is at Georgia. That will pay dividends.

This would definitely beat us. I can assure you, part of the reason I'm saying what I'm saying is I know Kirby won't let us take them so lightly.

TCU's A game is nowhere near Ohio's

Michigan thumped OhioSt in the horseshoe. TCU beat Michigan on a neutral field.

I don't understand your take.

I get it. Rivalry game. But to think TCU wouldn't have beaten OhioSt when they beat the team that beat OhioSt by A LOT, isn't a reasonable argument.

I'm not saying TCU will beat UGA, but to say TCU CAN'T beat UGA is very wrong.

We literally just beat Ohio State playing that style, not saying TCU can’t win but this game becoming a track meet doesn’t mean a W for TCU especially with a defense that’s not nearly as good as Ohio State’s

Its more reasonable than the one you are making. Transitive property is essentially worthless in FB.

So TCU's defense isn't better than OhioSt's? Based on what? TCU beat Michigan who beat OhioSt, no?

Michigan scored 45 on both TCU and OhioSt. I'd say at worst it's a push.

Michigan was able to beat OhioSt by 3 scores. UGA survived a missed FG.

TCU's offense is the key. Against a common opponent, OhioSt scored less than half on Michigan's defense than did TCU. If anything should be questioned here, it's UGA's defense. OhioSt scored 41 on UGA. They scored 23 on Michigan. Seems to me that TCU is going to be more than capable of scoring on UGA if OhioSt could. Just based on what they did vs a common opponent.

worthless

What's worthless is to assume OhioSt is better than TCU just because UGA struggled to beat them. Michigan didn't struggle with them at all. At the horseshoe too. UGA was basically playing a home game, and survived a missed FG. Shouldn't their big bad defense been able to slam the door on that comeback and never allowed the FG attempt?
Oh no. That's right. OhioSt is good now, because UGA struggled with them.
Perhaps UGA isn't as good as they're perceived to be.

You do realize transitive property doesn’t work in football right

OK. You realize that saying such things as "team A doesn't match up well vs team B" is just as arbitrary and unscientific, right?

FFS. I thought this was a fricking discussion board.
Discussing common opponents is bad, but discussing how teams match up is good?

It was 24-20 to start the 4th Q.

We missed more FG's than they did.

I figured that was just some of that mercy from Kirby about which you always blather.

No RAIN in the Benz. Vols would have been smashed in the Benz. They should be thankful the cocks smashed them to prevent the rematch.

Ohio St. has the 13th ranked scoring defense. TCU is tied for 56th.

TCU can’t lose! Duggan will invoke the power of Tebow against the Dawgs next Monday and replace 1980 with Horny Frogs

just like Bama, without Bryce Young this year, Bama would have about 5 losses.

I don't like that we have so many holes in the defense. We are limping into the game with some major injuries, counting on true freshman to make the plays against a mobile QB and TCU can light it up. Until we are up by a point with zeros on the clock, I am not counting out TCU.
