re: Georgia a 12.5 point favorite over TCU. Doesn’t that seem a little high?

I suspect TCU will pull an upset.

They could, but while OSU matched up well with UGA (passing offense against a vulnerable passing defense), TCU is a running team first. UGAs rush defense is their strength.

This you?

OSU is soft, and TCU isn't good enough to be there. The only team with any hope to beat UGA is Michigan

Dude, we're talking fricking TCU. If they lose they're out. No one wants to see them in the playoff and the committee will see to it if they lose. I'm telling you, it's harsh, but it's true.

Yep. We've all been wrong before, but anyway... OSU is soft, but UGA couldn't cover them.

TCU may have played tough with Michigan, but UGA isn't Michigan. I doubt it's as close this time around.

Nah, seems low.

This is the most lopsided matchup in the history of the playoffs, at least for the final game.

I expect a very lopsided game.

Lines are not predictions. They are positions that the casino believes will balance betting action on both sides.

Tcu will win. Uga will have a hangover from the osu game.

If TCU wins, it will have nothing to do with the OSU game. Dawgs are pissed about that.

I hope not but since we finally got 2 good semis it makes sense for this to be a blow out.

This is the way I see it. UGA isn't going to look dominant on defense, but will probably hold TCU in the 20's or low 30's.

TCU will have a hard time keeping UGA under 40. Even though they played Michigan, they won't be ready for the physical athleticism the Dawgs are gonna bring. I mentioned it in another thread, it's a different scheme, but UGA is the modern day equivalent of peak Nebraska. You see things on film and say "ok, we can stop that by doing this"; you get on the field, do exactly what you planned to do, and it's 2nd and 2. You eventually overcommit to just try to guard the line, and Bennett hits a deep pass.

Is that what LSU did that gave the game to Georgia in the SEC championship game?

I agree. I think TCU is going to have the same problem protecting the passer that Tennessee did

But Georgia had the lead for less than 1 minute of game time, which of course is not 50/50

If this is criteria, then give the 2017 Natty to UGA over Bama and also the 2018 SECCG - Georgia led in 118 out of the 120 minutes of those games.
