re: Georgia a 12.5 point favorite over TCU. Doesn’t that seem a little high?

It's amazing how many still don't realize this.

That sounds about right...I think UGA wins something like 38-24. TCU can score and they have playmakers but Georgia finds away to be more balanced and makes huge stops on Duggan and co then pulls away.

And Ohio State outplayed Georgia for 95% of that game and "should've" won.

Why do people keep saying this?

Georgia had more rushing yards
Georgia had more passing yards
Georgia sacked the QB more
Georgia had more Tackles for Losses
Ohio State missed one FG, Georgia missed two

We can go on and on, so I'm not sure why Ohio State should have won? Georgia outplayed them and it should have been a bigger win. Our FG kicker is usually very good.

I'd say 12.5 seems about right, especially for betting purposes.

-Georgia is a far better version of Michigan
-Michigan blew that game with 2 pick sixes and 3 trips in the red zone getting only 3 points
-Max Duggan's numbers didn't look great, but TCU made Michigan pay when the Wolverines made mistakes
-TCU won't get a month to prepare for Georgia

TCU is legit; they're a dangerous team. But unless Georgia starts turning the ball over, UGA should win by about 2 touchdowns.

Because Ohio State clearly played their best game of the season and it felt like, even with those things being statistically true, that Georgia didn't play as well as they could have and were lucky to have escaped with a win.

With the way they let Ohio State run all over them, yeah.

Depends.... the game is played in California. Kirby does not have access to record the opposing teams practices like he does in the Benz.

Did you watch the Michigan game? Kendre Miller is really good (dare I say better than bijan?) but the back up was balling out too

“There was a camera found in the stadium before the Buckeyes, first practice at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this week during a routine security sweep, according to people familiar with the situation,” he wrote. “The camera belonged to the stadium as a permanent fixture and was not being operated at the time. Ohio State was informed about it, the camera promptly was removed and everybody moved on.”

The original rumor came from writer Jeff Snook, an Ohio State graduate that, according to his website, has co-written autobiographies with individuals such as Frank Beamer. But it appears that he has some explaining to do.

Ok. So OSU played their best game and Georgia has played better. But that does not equal we were outplayed.

Don't misunderstand me. I was surprised when I looked at the boxscore. It "seemed" like OSU outgained us...mainly because we expected for us to beat them worse. But reality is we outplayed them and we won.

And again. Had our normally very reliable FG had not missed the two FGs OSU would not have been in position to win. People remember the FG OSU missed at the end of the game but tend to forget we missed two earlier that we should have gotten.

But are they? Tell me why OSU should have won and I will tell you why they should not have won.
Teir claim to fame was they led (which if we had hit our FG's we would have led most of the game) and they missed a last second FG, which if we had not missed our two earlier ones would not have mattered.

The problem is too many people are going by their feels and not by facts. If they get credit and should have won because they missed a FG, then we should get credit and should have won bigger because we missed two earlier FG's.
