Both teams will go over 100 easily - so much athleticism all over the floor

GCU only goes 7 deep. Bama plays more like 10.

Bama will go to the Sweet 16, where the going will get considerably tougher if NC wins as expected.

All Bama has is Sears and streaky hot shooting. I don't know how Oats has won this many games with this "Bad News Bears' team but hats off to him.

They got dudes - GCU's athletic department has a budget that rivals many P5 schools too.

Bama has their work cut out for them

Our strategy will be to wear them out by not guarding them. They will score so early and often their tongues will be hanging out by the second half and then we make our move. It's like letting a boxer punch himself out in the early rounds. Our complete lack of defense is a highly intricate, sophisticated 4D chess strategery.

I’m betting a small fortune on the over for that game. I took the over on 168. These schools will both be in the 90s.

Alabama has four players averaging double figures in points per game.

Grand Canyon had 1000 students in 2008. Today, they have over 100,000.

Their parent company also trades on the NYSE and is a for-profit school.

GCU is like some hidden monster with more $$ probably than most SEC schools.

Pretty much throughout the season, i expected this team's ceiling to be the sweet 16. With our talent level and lack of front court, I consider that a success. If we beat Grand canyon, then we are playing with house money, imo.

My opinion, also.
Alabama can be a very dangerous team, if their 3s are falling, and they find the fire to do something they've only done a couple of times this year...play balls-to-the-wall defense for both halves, they could well sneak up on a 1 or 2 seed, imo.

True, this Bama team was supposed to struggle this year but they have had a good season. Way better than expected. Not gonna win anything of note but hell, Bama wasn’t even supposed to be here so. It’s been fun watching this team.

They're switching to non-profit.

They're good but they are a 12 seed for a reason. Bama is the better team. If the Alabama that showed up last night does again. Grand Canyon is toast.

If the one that played down the stretch does, oh boy.

We will just have to see. But the one that showed up last night can play with a lot of teams. Including North Carolina.
