TodGreene, if both Georgia and LSU win out and Georgia beats them in Atlanta, LSU will own the 4th spot. If LSU wins the SEC and Bama wins out they might back in a second time. Wisconsin absolutely deserved the spot Bama got in 2017, but things are shaping up differently this season. There won't be a 4th team with the credentials Wisky had in 2017.

Who was listed as the second string QB on the depth chart starting with the first game that year. Was listed as 2nd string on the depth chart all season, until the B1G Championship Game where he was the starter.
1st String QB week 1 - JT Barrett
2nd string week 1 - Cardale Jones.
ESPN claimed he was third string because it makes a better story. Not sure why anyone else bought into their crap.

Any conference champion with the same number of losses as and one more victory than Alabama.
If you want to make the argument that Conference Championships shouldn't count, then let's drop them all and quit making the better teams play one more game than the lesser teams.
Note that the extra game obviously brings an extra chance of injury and the potential loss which would drop them from contention for further play.
Let's at least keep the paying field level.

IF Bama runs the table the rest of the way, (likely Au will bear is at home) I think they deserve to get in the CFP as much as any other one loss team. They would get thumped by whoever is the #1 team though. Just don’t have the D that could even make it a game without Tua.
With that being said, I don’t agree with Danielson’s comment that we belong just because Tua is our. That just doesn’t make sense if I’m reading the OP right. I didn’t hear it with my own ears and don’t know how it was stated.
The #1 seed should be happy to play Bama and not a Oky or PSU or Oregon.
I personally don’t think we should make it over any of those three. Maybe Oky because of their loss to a bad team and other closet games, but Oregon prolly should get the nod.
If we beat AU, we will have beaten the only team to beat Oregon and they will have lost 4 games this year. The fourth seed, whoever it is, will be the weakest fourth seed in years.

Keith Jackson was great but anyone that listened to him during the Carroll years at USC knows that he was as biased as they came. He damn near cried when VY scored that final td. Sure he didn't talk our heads off like Gary but he still had biases. We just didn't watch him as much because he was a big 10/Pac 10 guy. Musberger was another USC suckup at the end.

While I disagree, I would like to offer you an opportunity to explain (more than opinion) why they deserve (note that you didn't say earn) to get in over another 1 loss team that won (earned??) their conference and 1 more game than Alabama.
This is no BS and I am not trolling. I would just like a better explanation.
