Without Tua Alabama is one of the easiest potential draws a team can have in the playoffs this season. They can be embarrassed by someone. It may be in their best interest not to make it.

Keith Jackson was in a league of his own really when it came to college football commentating. He was also doing this in a time where players were not glorified like they are now. I can not imagine Keith Jackson giving major lip service over the TV set to Tebow, Alabama, the Kick 6 and other stuff like Danielson has done.
That being said, Danielson has some great game insight since he was an NFL QB but he just doesn't know when to stfu. I'll bet you that if you could count it, today's commentators say three times more words than Keith Jackson did back in the day. Danielson probably says 10 times more. I just wish the producers would tell him to cut back on all the extras. It's not needed.
Ultimately, the game sells itself.

Just wish Danielson would occasionally shut up and let us watch the game. Nobody I know has ever said "that color guy's too quiet. He needs to talk some more".And also hold back on the nonstop, non-game related, People magazine style trivia.

I agree Danielson's argument for Bama was muddled. I think the criticism he gets is often unwarranted, but he can be a star f...er, he sucks up to Saban.

Tua not withstanding, Bama has lost far too many players especially on the defensive side of the ball to make a run at the playoffs. Clampson and the ohio st. are well rounded football teams while LSU has an offensive juggernaut. Ga. lost at home to a porous USCe team and Oregon got beat by a potential 4 or 5 loss AU. Utah took it on the chin by USC enough said. Okla has been totally unimpressive excepting JH. So, who is the 4th team?

His color commentators like Frank Broyles and Tim Brandt had no problem giving their opinions about the games and other aspects
of CFB.

If you go by wins certainly not Alabama. If you go by who has the best loss they yes.
That was not the point though. It's the inconsistency in the reasons why Bama should be in according to GD.
