Hypothetically speaking if four teams that have never played in the playoffs before all make it this year who would those four teams most likely be in your mind?

Aggies?
Trojans?
Longhorns?

How on earth did Texas come to mind? I’m not convinced that they could handle Missouri

You KNOW one team is SEC, so there's that.

Ole Miss, maybe? I'd take Kiffin over Jimbo, Harsin is floundering, and Florida's got to rebuild. I think Kentucky hit their ceiling, and the rest are too far away.

As for the other new teams:
Wisky or Penn State from the Big 10
USC from the Pac 12
Baylor from the Big 12

Utah seems to be a sexy pick.

If we make it this year I would be very surprised. Almost nobody goes from 8 wins to CFP the next year. I think the only team that’s done that (not including Covid year) is 2017 Georgia went from 8-5 to the natty. If we can put together a 10 win season in 2022 and return a bunch of guys for 2023 I’d say we are right there in contention.

USC “the real one” and Texas have to the favorites out of their leagues.

I think USC has a very good chance of making it. The defense in the PAC is not great, except Utah. They don’t draw Oregon or Udub.
The rest of the schedule is not very good outside the Irish and there is no telling how good they’ll be. If the Trojans go 12-1 with the PAC12 title , they are 100% in.

As far as SEC, I could see A&M winning the west possibly, but Bama would have to have injuries. Ole Miss , maybe if they can okay a little D. I like Tenn. but they have to win shootouts, not sure they can play, UF, LSU, and Bama back to back to back and then UK and UGA back to back. That’s a hell of a lot of offense to summon. If they 4-1 then they have a shot. If they pull off a miracle and go 5-0.. they should be #1 and Hooker runs away with the Heisman.

Playoff prediction with a dark horse.
UGA(or Bama) I am a UGA Fan
tOSU
Bama(or UGA)
USC

* don’t sleep in the U, Van Dyke has some serious swag.

Also don't see the sudden love for the condoms. Yes FULR is out there now and he hit the portal hard, but he didn't address the trenches on either side which you have to have in order to win it.

LSU went from 8-5 in 2002 to the natty in 2003.

Wisky or Penn State

These were the first two names that came to mind. Penn State got hosed in 2016 and Wisconsin has been close a few times.
