A&M has played in the best division in CFB since the mid 80s. Big 12 south was the best division up until right before A&M left to join the new best, SECw.

I think LSU fans are more afraid of A&M, in a sort of way, than they are Alabama. They know Alabama is better, but they really hate that A&M may soon be better too.

I should have prefaced Rivals as my primary recruiting rankings as I feel they are the best. A&M had the #6 class in 2013 I believe. Could have been 2014. Too lazy to check. At any rate, never been higher.
