I mean he didn’t really have a choice. You’re not going to get decent coaches to go to college station without paying out the arse for them. Even one that created a dumpster fire in Tallahassee.

Then we will buy a lot of new shite for him unlike FSU was willing to do.

If Jimbo is actually here 10 years we will drop way more than $75 million into facilities over that time.

So you would take all those accomplishments if it meant down years to follow?

We’ll see....he did think LSU would only win 6 games this year too...so you know, he’s not always right ;-). But no, you guys obviously have a good thing going with Jimbo. You can tell he feels free at A&M (helps that he’s loaded too $) and he felt too held back at FSU. I’m not surprised at all he is happy.

I've had a number of conversations with Jimbo. Jimbo looooves being at Texas A&M. He doesn't just like it. He LOVES it

Well I'm sure this is 100% true. With his personal history there's probably not a better place in the country for him and his family to be than College Station.

LOL...Did you or anyone expect Jimbo to come in and win the SEC in year 1? No, but he is building something. Currently a top 5 class. As long as he wins enough in 2018 to keep that class intact then the program will rise.

Don't worry, a UT alumnus will make sure Jimbo gets caught in a compromising position with a Border Collie.

This is stupid. Mond, Sumlin, and aTm won a game when a better Carolina team had a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter last year.

Can't speak for the Kentucky game, but nothing was different between this year and last for aTm regarding the Carolina game.

I think you mean that borderline illiterate people don't give a flying frick about A&M.

If the try to recreate those 2000s teams, they'll lose. Game has changed too much.

I am actively campaigning to get Woodward at LSU. The AD is LSU's weak spot. Time for Scott to come home, at all costs.

He had to. There was no other way a middling program like a&m could have landed him.

Look at where A&M and LSU were as programs when he was a recruit. He wasn't wrong. That isn't the case anymore. A&M has moved to a better conference, with increased revenue, exposure, funding, and facilities. The only thing that has changed for LSU since then is the coaching and results have declined.

All that and you could just said A&M left one conference where it finished 4 or 5 in its division to go to a new conference where it finishes 4 or 5 in its division.

It doesn't matter what conference you're in, you'll always be aggy.

A&M Conference Records

SWC: 253-221-30 (.502)
BDF(that's what A&M calls it right?): 68-61 (.527)
SEC: 28-24 (.538)

Jimbo is going to have to go against a lot of history... 79 years is a whole lot of building.
