To put it simply, when I sent my son to the University of Alabama, he was healthy and drug-free. He graduated in just 3 ½ years with a degree in Communications and a wicked addiction to Vyvanse.
WOW. Just wow.

I became a cokehead while attending the University of South Carolina. Who's fault is that? It's my own fault.

This is stupid because it could pertain to any major college program.

So who got him addicted to drugs? Was it The University of Alabama or was it himself?
Personal responsibility is a concept I believe foreign to most people nowadays. It's never their fault.

Hell, I started smoking weed when I was still in elementary school. It damn sure wasn't the school that made me do it

The call for young, black players to go to an HBCU because HBCU's actually care about you where big schools don't makes me feel like Jemele Hill wrote this. That's where this blog seems to have an agenda behind it.
Not there is anything wrong with HBCUs, this just makes it out like those are the only places where they will actually care about players.
But hey, she knows SJWs and fans of other schools will eat this up.

And everybody knows it.

I was with her until she started in on HBCUs and her black power rhetoric.

Typical parents today!
They blame their children's behavior on anything and anyone except their children!
I see it every day, not about drugs because I work in an elementary school, but if a student is disrespectful to a teacher, it's the teachers fault for pushing the student too hard.

Her biggest complaint was the lack of education he received at Alabama.
Her solution was to send your child to a HBCU.
Football players in big programs are given the opportunity to get a good education, but also the opportunity to not worry about class to much and still graduate.
No one at a HBCU gets much of an education.
I'm not going to go into it but I have had several encounters with HBCU schools and graduates and I would say the level of education is around the 8th grade.

This is dumb. Any parent of a college student could blame the institution for their kid getting “hooked” on something. It’s fricking college
I’ve been prescribed to Vyvanse for 5+ years. It’s not seen as dangerous to anyone but mothers who read the FDA-mandated fine print, which purposely over-exaggerates the side effects to protect them in the event of potential lawsuits.

I read the blog. She's not an intelligent person. All she did was embarrass her son.
