Sumrall vs Golesh
Florida has demolished its 2 previous inferior opponents.
Auburn struggled against a power 4 team whose qb played against Golesh last year and lost.
It will be rocking in Jordan Hare and will be Florida’s quarterback first true road environment.
Who ya got?

After having watched the first 2 games by both teams these are the really only known things:
Auburn has shown a good rush defense against a power 4 team.
Auburn has a really experienced QB unlike Florida. He did throw 3 interceptions against Baylor but usually isn't too bad with interceptions.
As far as Florida it's hard to say. We might have a good offense but it hasn't been tested and what we think might be a weakness wasn't tested the first 2 games - our offensive tackles especially our RT.
How good are Auburn's edge rushers and/or DE?

I haven't watched Florida, but Auburn is a work-in-progress. Penalties and missed opportunies characterized the USM game. This one could go either way, but it will be fun to host the Gators in Jordan-Hare again, and maybe there's some of that old voodoo that we do left, we might need it.

Our offense might be good but it hasn't been tested yet. Baugh, VBIII, and Wilson are all 1st/2nd round draft talents. Philo has looked the part against inferior competition. With the talent around him, we don't need him to be elite; we just need him to be steady, get the ball in the hands of our playmakers, and avoid turnovers.
The defense, specifically the pass rush, is a big question mark right now.
It's a coin flip game at JHS. I think we have the marginally better team but you never know there. I'll say 31-27 UF for now.

Well if the rushers are good we will find out the deal with our tackles this game.

Our DL looks weak, they are the biggest concern of our team so far.
Our offense & special teams (ironically) are our strength right now.
Whether or not we can hold them defensively is where the game will be decided IMO, esp if their QB can escape the pocket.
Either way, glad to play Auburn we never get to.

#41 and #15 are the guys but Durkin is just as likely to drop them in coverage. He brings blitzes from all over the place in different looks and personnel. It’s great when it works, and it gives up 3rd and long when it doesn’t. We look to be a break-but-don’t-bend kinda D. We completely shut down an inferior opponent except for one drive when they carved us up and we looked like we didn’t know what we were doing. We’re either sacking the QB or causing a fumble or picking off a pass or we’re giving up a 3rd and 11.

I am very curious to see how our new offense holds up this game.
