Florida and Mississippi State both got lost in the noise here yesterday.

The final score of Florida - Auburn was a lie. Florida pretty much rolled and looked good doing it. They have enough to potentially make a run at a playoff spot.

MSST is going to win 8 or 9 games.

They are both going to be a tough out for everyone on their schedules.

Sec is a gauntlet this year. Lots of high level QB play which is the great equalizer.

I hope you are right about Florida. Ole Miss game will tell us a lot more. The offense I think might can hang with anyone this season.

Got to keep Taylor healthy and OL and DL play needs to improve (and not fall behind early of course)

State had about as bad of a start as you could have on the road in a raucous environment, settled down and rattled off 38 unanswered until the game was out of hand. Also, they have a real sec defense that swarms to the ball, is athletic, and minimizes mistakes, albeit slightly undersized in spots.

I’m picking Florida to knock off ole Miss next weekend, but that’s going to be an incredible game. I was surprised Florida’s defense gave up so many points, but hey…

Through the first 3 weeks, Florida has an argument for having the best offense in the country. How true that is will be the difference between 7-5 and a chance at the SEC Championship Game.

defense needs to improve a lot fast for that to happen

If it does, BIG IF, then I agree

I can’t take anything from our first two game seriously, or from any program when they face such competition like we did those weeks (we weren’t alone

And while Auburn isn’t a good team overall this year I do think their defense is at worst above average so that was a very good showing from the offense on the road last night

I can, and do, take Jadan Baugh seriously.

Very seriously.

Baugh has an entire year of track record to be taken seriously

Hi, Auburn fan here. We suck. We have sucked for the past 9 years and we suck now. Statistically, during that time span with Vanderbilt. And they got the head to head during that time span.

So, unfortunately for Florida the win yesterday can’t be used as a barometer of their team. Their offense looked good but that is against an Auburn defense that Stephen Hawking would have looked good against.

Yet another season that will give me more hunting time and relying on the Braves to give me any hope of a good October.

Auburn? Challenging. South Carolina? About like last year with a slightly improved offense.

Lost in the noise is Oklahoma barely got by New Mexico 14-6. 61 rushing yards. Not good.

Idk. Schedule is tough and defense is suspect. Happy we have Buster, even if it is a one year rental.
