2014 - Oregon vs Ohio State
2005 - USC vs Texas
2004 - Oklahoma vs USC
2002 - Miami vs Ohio State
2001 - Nebraska vs Miami
2000 - Florida State vs Oklahoma
1999 - Virginia Tech vs Florida State

16 of the last 18 National Championships have featured at least one SEC team.

Probably unrelated, but has Auburn ever been in the playoffs?

Why do refs hate LSU so much that they make your defense look bad but not so much that they allow your qb to look so good that he went on to win the Heisman.

Of course!! It's the LSU standard. EVERY loss is due to nefarious refs!!

I’m actually enjoying it. If I’m being honest, if a school with mostly 4 or 5 star, or a school that gets the best performers from the year before through NIL makes it, did they really accomplish something great?

Thread started by AU poster.... first couple replies are shots at bama by non-LSU fans, and on cue, a bama fans responds with an LSU reference.

Fantastic.

And if Texas isn't in the playoff next year, I hope it (somehow) happens again.

Good. I think it's better for the sport as a whole.

The first reply is by an LSU fan, you idiot. That's what I responded too, moron.

Georgia should be getting the blame. They were the superior team all year and shite the bed against Bama.

Not that I’m complaining, I’d rather not see them 3 peat but just pointing out the facts. This was Bama’s worst team under Saban since 07, they had 0 business beating Georgia.

You don't think the Chicago Bulls "accomplished anything great" in the 90s, simply because they drafted/traded-for and paid Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman?

That must be an absolutely miserable way to experience fandom in any sport.

This is clearly on us. We own this one. We let down the conference.
