It's so stupid that Paul sits there and agrees with him.
Saban was hired to be the football coach at Bama and to do the best job he could to keep them at the top. Just because he asked donors to put up more money doesn't mean he liked what was going on with college football.
What a complete neanderthal this guy is.

The embarrassing thing would be replacing a few letters in someone’s name and thinking you were being clever. That stopped being entertaining for most of us in 5th grade.
You sure you aren’t a regular on the show?

To understand that circus, consider that Legend & "Jim"were callers of the year for yrs ongoing. That ESPN pays Finebaum over a million a year is just reflective of ESPN's stupidity as opposed to the show's popularity.

I'm sorry your daddy was in prison while you were growing up. But he wasn't right here.

Are there posters who seriously think these calls are on the level? That these callers aren't paid or, at the very least, prompted what to say? Good Lord...

Fella, I’m just sitting there. They come to me.

Listened to Finebaum when he was just a statewide show. It was still somewhat entertaining then. Every so often during football season I will tune-in hoping to listen to a legit interview or a discussion about a big game. After 10 seconds I turn it off.
It’s a shame that the SEC has allowed that show to be the face of the SEC Network.

Most of those callers are paid and they’re fake. An Auburn guy did one of the Bama fans in the past. He had fun doing it and got paid. Same as Jerry Springer.
Did you watch Jerry Springer? Wow! Congrats for being reeled in to that show.

And yet every Alabama fan I’ve ever met and anywhere in the world would represent quite different than your opinion. It’s a poor state with very little to offer outside of their collegiate sports and the rocket lab in Huntsville. And the rocket lab had nothing to do with the state’s offerings. The amount of assholes who simply must interject “roll tide” at the very sight of an opposing team’s shirt or colors is both sad and indicative of a massive inferiority complex. They know their state is poor and lacking of any cultural relevance so they simply must open their gaping gump mouths and spew their hot mess anywhere and everywhere they go.

Did you ever think you are right and everyone else is wrong. Gumpland is devoid of anything cultural except on the coast and near Auburn . It has been stated and fact checked the Gumps have the most subway alums who have never set foot on the campus except for football games . Look at the crowd on game day and it says it all. If cock fighting was legal it would still happen in the parking lots pre-game. Finebaum and his ilk are the best examples btw.

Yeah, I thought it was well known that the show was radio's version of pro wrestling. It is obvious to anyone who can fog a mirror the show has paid callers playing characters.

I doubt many of the "regulars" are paid, they do it for free for internet clout. There are definitely people who work for the show that call in to drive the conversation. There's one that tries to change his voice but has mannerisms that he can't change apparently. Whenever I hear him I know whatever he says will be the topic for the hour, and I only watch occasionally, it's that obvious.
It's so obvious it's staged, especially during the off season. A show employee calls in, says something controversial and all the "regulars" have a take on it. Then somehow that subject is completely forgotten and reset at the top of the hour
