No shite....it has been very well known for over 50 years now. But it is Fifa..they have a ton of lawyers making sure shite looks clean. They make a ton of money, have to protect it.

Today maybe, but back when they were incentivized to get an SEC team into 1 of 2 spots in a BCS title game…now that was pinnacle corruption. Not just Alabama most years, but remember when Arkansas got called for pass interference 3 downs in a row to let Florida get into the red zone on the final drive and advance to the sec title game? Think this was back in 08 when Tebow was there.

AH, found it: LINK

It was two CONMEBOL officials. One from Brazil the other from Venezuela. Not FIFA as a whole.

I hope we appeal but I don’t have much hope

The officials screwed Senegal against Belgium.

We are not used to seeing New World Order level corruption.

Anyone downvoting this is either clueless or in denial. Here’s that link again: LINK

One of many examples over the years but has gotten better since the playoff expansion since multiple SEC teams can now get in and split that $$$.

I feel sorry for absolutely fricking no one about any call. Ever.

The red card was ridiculous. A yellow card? OK, but that’s not an option for VAR so they should have just let it go. Instead, VAR had to be the center of attention and talked the ref into the red card.

As bad as that was, however, the officiating situation in the World Cup is much better with VAR than without. Officials still make some bad calls, but it isn’t because they simply didn’t see it, or just saw it wrong.
