It typically does.

How was I deflecting a bogus opinion? What part of this is opinion?

In turn, they don't have much experience behind Honey Badger and Tharold Simon (according to Rivals)

Rivals has 2 redshirt freshmen behind Tharold Simon and Tyrann Mathieu. What other depth chart am I supposed to go by?

quote:

Mingo, Montgomery, Logan, Jones, Minter, Simon, Reid, TM

Mingo didn't start, Ken Adams started opposite Sam Montgomery. Athough, Mingo did play a lot. Still the fact remains, he didn't start. Tharold Simon also didn't start.

Could easily name several other players such as Anthony Johnson that received significant PT last year.

Significant playing time =/= starting, which is what I stated here:

You don't return very much on defense when it comes to starters

Anyways, I'm done with this argument. I have to feed my dogs and crash so I can actually wake up on time tomorrow.

LSU downgrades at tight end

You just lost all credibility whatsoever with this statement. Barring a couple catches, Peterson was virtually nonexistent in our offense.

It's a preseason poll. I've never seen a fanbase whine so much over such a meaningless poll.

2004 will do that to ya…

And most of the whining isn't over the poll, it's over the fact that people don't see any way Auburn could progress and improve

7. Florida State The new Notre Dame? What is with ESPN's obsession with this team...

Florida State will have a good defense again but they need to find a running game in order to something. They have been beating themselves for years anyway, they gotta be one of the penalized teams in the country.

Why do Auburn fans think they have all this talent? Is it because rivals has rated their classes high. Talented teams don't get their shite pushed in by 4 tds multiple times in one season. Ted roof was a failure because he didn't have much to work with.

The young excuse is old now. If kids are truly talented they can come in and make an immediate impact. Auburns has not had a lot if kids that have done that.

In 08 Bama only had 9Srs. and all the talented players were Fr and Sophs. they win 12 games.

Most of LSU best players were Sophs last yr and freshman the yr before when they won 11 games.

Auburn does not have close to the talent or depth regardless of where rivals ranked those classes.

I think Bama is ranked too high.

Outside top 10 IMO. Arkansas, USCe and LSU will all spank them this year.

Again, with this shite

Meh, could be lower, actually. Lost quite a bit of talent.

20. Florida

Figured, they'd possibly round out the T25, but close enough

Not that I don't agree for the most part, but who should you put in their place?

1)LSU
2)BAMA
3)USC Switched bc I'm not buying all the hype. They'll be good, but not our level. Jmo
4)Oklahome
5)WVU
6) Oregon
7)scar
8)Michigan
9)scar
10)arky
11)Ohio st
12) Georgia
13)Florida st
14)Clemson
15)Wisconsin

Hard to determine after the top 10 bc those teams aren't much different @ 10-25. It then comes down to schedules. I still firmly believe USC is a solid 3 bc they aren't at the level of LSU/Bama but there's no other dynamic team.

How can they rate Fla # 20? I don't see that.
