Nope. SEC Freshman of the year who played with sprained ligaments in his ankle, a senior RB who paved the way against UF, a RS Soph RB who is solid, and two highly touted freshmen don't constitute a "stout" running game.

For the record, I didn't ay "all-world", didn't say "best in the SEC", just said "stout"

That makes complete sense.

Crow is healthy
Malcome is good
Keith Marshall for a change of pace

Yeah, that's going to be a pretty damn good backfield.

What is with ESPN's obsession with this team...

Well, clemson isn't worth a shite. Gotta pump up the ACC somehow. Otherwise it's just a notch above the Big East

Honestly, I know what USCw has, but they should know that the best teams in the SEC are the best teams. No need for Bama/LSU not to be the top two.

Well, it's not like we don't have good reason. Florida was even more pathetic than Auburn last season. Auburn would beat them again this season if given the chance. Florida just simply isn't deserving of being in the top 25 over Auburn.

I disagree with the poll. Alabama is #1 until they are beaten, despite what Coach Saban says.

Pretty much this. Aubie only lost to Top 10 teams and a top 15 team in Clemson. All of those were on the road except for the eventual National Champions.

AU now has what appears to be a decent OC and a decent DC. They return, what, 9-10 starters on D? Frazier has potential, and Emory Blake is stout. OMAC and Tre Mason should both be good. The K/P combo at Aubie is very good. They lose to Bama and LSU, they lose to UGA, and they may or may not lost to Arky.

So... lat year Auburn should have been #1 withotu Cam and Fairley, until they were beaten in game 3? THAT atrocious team?

So Auburn was the #1 team in the nation until they lost to Clemson? Even after they barely got past Utah State?

You're argument now has a gaping hole. Please do continue though....
