Nope

It was clearly an example. The team doesn't matter simply because any game can be lost.

Why will we be worse? Just trying to be combative because I'm not thinking Auburn will win the NC akin to 2010?

I could care less about what you think when it comes to Auburn. Not one Auburn fan on this board, or any board I've seen, has predicted Auburn to win the National Championship like in 2010.

So we should go down some existential discussion on the word "possible?" give me a break dude, five losses are clearly realistic for Auburn. Doesn't mean it will happen, but certainly a realistic possibility based on what we know.

5 losses are clearly realistic for any college team this season, not just Auburn. That definitely won't happen with some. I don't know why this is so hard for you to wrap your brain around.

LSU downgrades at tight end. They lost two, experienced, SEC linebackers that fit the system well. They lost Mo Claiborne, Ron Brooks, and Brandon Taylor in the secondary - In turn, they don't have much experience behind Honey Badger and Tharold Simon (according to Rivals), and they have a huge question mark at the other safety position opposite Eric Reid. Craig Loston has injury issues.

And even though I think LSU downgrades and will be worse, they will still be good enough to win the SEC and play in the National Championship.

Are you still sticking to your prediction of Auburn winning 5 games this season? I hope so.

It aint gonna take much to go from 7-5 to 5-7. Some AU posters are still in the "CamFog".

We're talking about Auburn. It's realistic for Auburn. You said earlier that you "definitely" wouldn't after saying it was possible. Just trying to reconcile here.

LSU downgrades at tight end.

haha yeah we won with the TE play.

Really just one. Other guy was nothing special.

You could have just said you didn't know.

People graduate. You dismiss what we have returning for the sake of argument, which is fine, but pretty poor argument on you part.

Couldn't have said it better, my friend.

At least we don't have to deal with the shite about our "pending doom" with the NCAA, anymore. When the ATPB thread was around, and that was going on, that was the worst that the SEC Rant has ever been. Trolls like TideTurf rocked the flame threads hourly.

True. But now it's the universally accepted truth that Auburn will always be 7-5 and never get better

And the daily pissing matches over stupid shite, like whether an SEC Championship is better than a National Championship...

Not at all. It's the universally accepted truth that you will be dogs in four games on the schedule at least. So predicting five losses isn't out of the realm. Doesn't mean it will happen, as some smart guys have so aptly stated, but certainly makes it very possible.

I take it you agree.

They were still LSU's best options.

Although, I really have trouble understanding why more bigtime linebackers don't want to go to LSU. Adding Kwon Alexander was huge.

I always back up my posts.

You don't return very much on defense when it comes to starters. I'd say you lost too much to be better next year. It's hard to replace players like Brocker, Claiborne, Taylor, Brooks, etc with players that haven't played much. Of course, they will be good in time. But not next year.

Sometimes the NCAA dosent have to bring doom, sometimes you do it to yourself(see anything Tennessee related).
So,how long before you give Chiz the axe and hire Harley Hog Petrino?

That's one of the best parts of the SECr.

According to some posters, Alabama and LSU could lose every starters, but still be as good or better the next season. Auburn returns everyone, upgrades at coaching, and has an easier schedule...but will still be the same.

TE doesn't matter.

We're a nickel team. We were a nickel team last year as well. Minter is back and Tahj Jones played more than Francois down the stretch. Not a strong position for us, but not expecting to lose much on that front.

Our linebacker haul last year was good. LA doesn't produce linebackers for the most part. Two enrolled early. One led the spring game in tackles.

According to rivals is deflecting on a bogus opinion.

bullshite. Mingo, Montgomery, Logan, Jones, Minter, Simon, Reid, TM. 7 of which were starters for most of last year. Simon had a lot of experience. Could easily name several other players such as Anthony Johnson that received significant PT last year.
