Vandy whistler was told by ESPN, cops to STFU. He defiantly cursed them out and essentially told them to GFT, proceeding to ruin the experience for everyone else including other Vandy fans and the TV viewing audience.

Wow thank you for the excellent synopsis I did not expect.
Public spaces and massive amounts of people can sometimes lead to conflict. It takes a sidewalk Vandy fan to pick a fight with Mickey Mouse.

There was some Miami fan, fat little Hispanic dude down front, doing his own version of that shite.
I stayed over for the Florida/UVA game after our game, and lo and behold, the fat little fricker was still there, and had put a Gator pullover on, still doing the little whistles.

I've gone to a few games as well as watched a few, the pops is a Vandy alumn. These dudes have been doing this for at least a few years.
They started getting some attention early in the tourney when people were tweeting in about having to hear it on the radio broadcast. I find it amusing people are noticing it.

While I can see why their act would get old really fast, I like that they stood their ground and told ESPN to kick rocks.Would think those dudes would get tired after awhile though.

Willing to bet this arse hole does not take his whistle on the road. He wouldn't make it through the first inning at State & LSU just to name 2 schools. Not seeing what the knock is on ESPN, he was most definitely irritating & served no purpose whatsoever if even the Vandy fans were against him. Of course, to be fair, I am not sure what would be more aggravating: having to sit in front of a damn cowbell for 9 innings or this clown.
