I think ppl hated Tebow, some bc of faith and others bc they thought he faking it(similar to what Dabo gets accused of)

I don't think he faked it, but I do think he embellished it.

This is some serious recency bias. Miami from the late 80s and early 90s was a story that transcended sports. Hard to explain if you can't remember it.

Lane Kiffin isn't transcending sports, unless you live in Louisiana and Mississippi, which are two podunk states out of 50.

Woody Hayes for his entire career. What other HC was ejected for punching another team's player?

Was Spurrier really that much of a villain?

Def tongue-in-cheek

Now that I think about it more, I like that Lane is behind Spurrier on this list

Both are legendary offensive minds who talk their cash and people hated them for kicking arse and telling you about it

I LOVE IT! 2 of the all-time greats

He was until the Nebraska whooping, he was arrogant, talked trash, ran the score up on inferior teams. Sportsmanship was a lil bigger in the 90s. The vandy game was the tipping point. He was taking deep shots late in the fourth quarter and people wanted him to get his. They relaxed after osbourne ran the score up on him in the natty.

No Jerry Sandusky seems like a pretty glaring omission
I think these are more a “love to hate” thing than real antipathy (for the most part).

There’s no playing with that monster. His own sphincter should be nonexistent by now.

Spurrier was the height of entertaining.

Tebow makes no sense

Sandusky easy 1
Briles is 2 in my book.
