I mean, he was annoying, but definitely not worthy of being classified as a "supervillain".

Annoying is the best way to describe Tebow...

The religion thing was part of that. It made some people love him and others roll their eyes.

He was kind of a cornball. The Ole Miss declaration? Gator fans loved it... but for everybody else it was kind of like Scarlett O'Hara at the end of Gone With the Wind...

And for me... Although he is a hoss and tough as nails... I found his voice to be irritating. Kind of effeminate sounding. I have the same problem with Josh Heupel's voice. Obviously they can't help it... Just tough to listen to.

I do know that when Tebow, Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford were all in New York for the Heisman in 2008... Bradford and McCoy hung out together and didn't include Tebow for some reason.

Focus less on the voice and more on the message.

The University of Tennessee touts/ counts both Paul Finebaum and Ryan McGee as distinguished alumni.

Disney owns both of them.

Engagement bait. They purposely put in dumb ones just get people to call them dumb.

Manziel was a hero in college after beating Alabama. He wasn't selling autographs to people who hated him.

I think they said - Spurrier was a great shite talker who backed it up, so let's put him #1. And then after they just put in random shite for bait.

I guess Kiffin belong on the list as far as being hated, but it's not quite the same really. Not sure he's a super villain, but he is hated by more than a couple of fanbases. Maybe if he has success to go with it in the future, but the majority of the people hate him for other reasons and I doubt most people care.

ESPN I don't know why is on the list, unless it's for being responsible for making some players hated. Like Tim Tebow. And I'm not sure I would call Tebow a villain, maybe it's just because I always liked the guy, but the media coverage was stupid and that is what caused hate.

Cam Newton not listed, but this guy was an actual Supervillain. Everyone knew his dad got paid, the NCAA created rules to plug the loophole, and he played and won a NC anyway. Anyone who wanted real justice was denied.

Def tongue-in-cheek

Now that I think about it more, I like that Lane is behind Spurrier on this list

Both are legendary offensive minds who talk their cash and people hated them for kicking arse and telling you about it

I LOVE IT! 2 of the all-time greats

One of them is not like the other.

Tebow was hated because of the media and UF was winning and he was surrounded by criminals and the media ignored that to focus on the good guy.

I mean, hate all you want, but someone very vocal about God is a role-model to me.
