The real question is why aren't disney CEOs taking a pay cut.

Heather Dinnich and Marty Smith avoid another layoff. Truly remarkable.

I can remember when he used to work for FOX Sports.

He’s a good dude.

Or Stephen A Smith? He’s making $20M a year. No wonder they’re laying off people.

This guy needs to be doing commentary for SEC games. He was a helluva player back in the day, and is an even better commentator/analyst.

Charles was pretty rough starting out, but I came to like him over the years.

He’s probably better off for it . But we the viewers sure aren’t. He is a great man.

I like Charles Davis. He keeps his bias to himself and is always upbeat about the players.

I can still remember when he started out as the sideline reporter for the shitty Jefferson Pilot noon game of the week.

I remember Charles being on the sidelines sweating his arse off for a few Jefferson Pilot games in the late 90s while the 3 Daves did the call and color from the press box.

Guy is the worst. I actually think Disney and ESPN think Southern men find him relatable because they're so fricking out of touch with reality.

And on this topic, Charles Davis is great.

Hopefully he finds a landing spot that lets us enjoy his work in future years.

It's impossible to understand how douchebags like him make millions all the while ratings are cratering and they can't figure out that it's because their "talent" is basically unwatchable

Yep, so far out of touch. the ONLY reason ESPN is watched is because that's the only place u can see the game. If they had any clue about their audience, they could easily increase their viewership for all the peripheral stuff.
