•Trim some fat on our claimed National Championships

•Complete overhaul of the Million Dollar Band

•Play Dixieland Delight unedited and unfiltered or not at all. The piped in PG rated chants are cringy as frick and the white noise they use to drown out “frick Auburn” is horrible

•The pregame routine is comparatively boring and has remained the same for 20+ years.

•They somehow get drowned out by the opposing band in ttown

•Overall they just seem lackluster for the premier CFB team in the South

I’m not trying to rip on the performers. I know they put in hours upon hours in the summer heat and are good at what they do. I just think the product those in charge put out could be better

I agree the pregame show is pretty tame. They need to add Rammer Jammer back in. Back when that was a part of the pregame routine it was absolutely loud as frick.

I also agree that the "BEAT AUBURN" piped over the PA during "Dixieland Delight" is ridiculous and should be stopped immediately.

Didn't realize that had been removed. If it has, yeah that should come back and I don't understand why they would ever stop doing it in the first place.

It’s even worse when they play it when we are down 30-0 in the 4th Q and kick a field goal

They overplay the shite out of it. It only needs to be played right before kickoff or a huge moment in the game. The crowd gets wild for it but they've diluted the effect over time by playing it way too often.

The wave...... It's exponentially worse in War Memorial than RRS but still.....
and I know it's not just an Arkansas thing but it's time to bury the wave.

“The Running of the Gumps” was the greatest tradition in Alabama football history. Dont know why they killed that.

Agree with this, in any stadium for any sport.
Most infuriating when I'm at my team's home game and it starts up during game action, as if the fans DGAF about what's happening on the field.

If I remember correctly, back in the late 90's or very early 00's the school decided not to play Rammer Jammer anymore because it was classless (which, yeah, duh, that's the whole fricking point). After enough people complained they finally agreed to bring it back, but only at the end of games, and only against big opponents that we beat by some minimum number of points. The regulations about when it could be played at the end of games were pretty quickly ignored and it went back to being played after every win, but they've never brought it back to the pregame for whatever reason. It always seemed less classless to me to tell someone that you are going to beat the hell out of them, when they can still do something about it, than it is to taunt them about having beaten them once the game is over.

I don't like the Corps block seating. It presents a skewed view of the student body.

and I've always wondered why Mississippi Queen isn't played at it's loudest levels at either State, Rebs. The riff is badass.

They used to play it before the game on the field. Then, they compromised and stop having the band played it but played the "HEY!" song over the speakers right before the teams took the field for kickoff, and people just yelled it then.

Then finally at some point - maybe when we hired Mal - we stopped it all together before the game.
