Never forget that Mizzou gave Drinkwitz a raise and extension for having a worse record than Brian Kelly

They do have strong ties and homes there. Bud's wife's name is on our track and field stadium and a grandaughter's name was briefly on our basketball arena but was removed due to an academic scandal while she attended USC. One of the daughter's last name is Kroenke, owner of the Rams, many other sports franchises, and more land than any other private citizen in the US; the other Laurie, former owner of Blues. Sam was an alumni as well. The Walton heirs do donate, but that does not mean Mizzou "has" their money. They are pretty careful about how/when they donate, as they should be. I think they mostly do it anonomously these days (probably due to the whole arena naming mess).

I knew about Kroenke; we passed their house everyday. I loved that they basically had a herd of deer in their front yard. Didn’t know that Laurie was a former owner of the Blues. I just kind of assumed that when Mizzou received a huge anonymous donation, it was probably them.
