Bo Pelini

The team doesn’t get a pass, but Pelini does. Those players abandoned that team, leaving him with little to work with.

The list begins and ends with Hugh Freeze hiring Wesley McGriff at Ole Miss.

Peter Sirmon, 2016 MSU
In 2016, the Mississippi State Bulldogs football defense allowed an average of 459.1 total yards and 31.7 points per game, finishing with a 6-7 overall record. Under defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon, the unit ranked 110th nationally in scoring defense and struggled against the run, giving up 230.5 rushing yards per game.

Horror, absolute horror.

No refuting Pellini and House were two of the worst DC hires at LSU since Lou Tepper.

Will Muschamp this year defense wasn't texass problem.

Pass defense was a consistent problem under PK.

he wanted to show his offensive prowess off by hiring shitty DCs

At least Manuela became a competent HC for mid tier programs down the road, Grantham flat out sucks.

Also Texas fans called him Manny _iaz when he was there under Mack.

That’s where I got the spelling for Grantham’s first name

How about “past his prime” John Chavis for Arkansas after he’d already made stops at Tennessee, LSU, and aTm. Just purely in terms of a long-shot, dumb hire. Not saying chavis was always a bad DC and he’s a Broyles winner. Just think he’d passed his expiration date by the time we hired him.
