Mizzou, LSU, and Ole miss are wins. Bama and TN are my concern. The best defense in the country is actually healthier than they have been all season. Mateers hand is actually healed now as well.

It's a brutal stretch. But, as a Texas fan, I sure hope it doesn't cost Venables his job.

just want to know how many wins Venables needs to stay safe. The coach hiring waiting room is pretty miserable this season.

He’s not going anywhere this season. He’s well protected as long Joe C is around. So far Venables is fine this season.

Ole Miss will score at will against us. Our defense will get gassed by 3rd or 4th quarter. Their defense will give our mediocre offense fits. Ole Miss wins this one unfortunately.

I am no expert but watching em against the Dawgs it sure looked like it was the Rebel offense that was gassed late in the game.

I want whatever you’re having. To have this confidence is incredible (delusional).

They are beating LSU. I only see one win left for LSU this year.

OU will be favored in every home game . We kicked Bamas arse last year . I know deep down they don’t think it’s a sure fire win. Defense travels and OU has the best defense in the sec. OU realistically will lose either to Tenn or Bama on road and win out imo if Mateer keeps getting healthy . Still feel like he’s hurt . I don’t think he threw a ball over 25 yards this week.

Oh we can't WAIT to get you in Bryant Denny with a QB that doesn't just throw your DB's the ball....

You got neg repped by a couple of OU posters I assume...

But the Ole Miss game will be the first legit offense OU will have faced all season.

Ole Miss will reveal whether OU's defense is elite, just good or a complete fraud.

At this point they look really good but are inconsistent as hell. Throwing people for losses left and right and sacking the QB and then bang.... They give up a 40 yard run, .Or they allow a QB like Arch or Arnold to convert a bunch of third and fourth downs that lead to a score at a critical time.

Ole Miss well tell us what we need to know.

Great! We look forward to meeting him every 2 seconds when you have the ball.

they'd need to get real unlucky and/or mateer not ever get to his pre hand injury self to lose out. i think they should lose to bama and the rest are coin flip games. ole miss looks dicey if mateer still isn't mateer, but ole miss also has a terrible run defense. an ok mateer plus being able to run the ball could get them to 20-30 points they'll need to win.

No. They can beat Mizzou and LSU some reasonably plus Tennessee.

Yes. They lose out (okay, fine, maybe win one towards the end of the season).
