I liked Evans. No real opinion either way on the others. But I never thought of them as Auburn guys either, just Saints.

ETA: Evans just seems like a good dude. I remember hearing him on the radio promoting his charity a lot.

The same time Baton Rouge did.

But they seem to be sent to our team to cost us playoff games

Where is the purdue hate? Brees looked like a limp dick rookie against the seahawks

The problem is they start out behind the 8 ball in NO because they played at bama. Any mistake by them is magnified much more than a mistake by another player. After all, Ingram averaged 5 YPC this year and has two career fumbles. Khiry Robinson fumbled in the seahawks game as well, I don't see anyone calling for his head after his 4 YPC season, but yea let's cut the more productive back

And yes, Ingram was a huge disappoinment in his first two seasons, but anyone wanting him cut after the way he ran this year just shows that they are in fact biased. How good a player was doesn't have anything to do with him going forward. How good he currently is does though.

Just because it's in South Louisiana doesn't mean it's cajun. Some parts of the metro area are cajun, but NOLA isn't.

But I do find it funny when they try to make fun of cajun culture when dealing with LSU fans but also cheer for the Saints.

Well, to be fair, most LSU fans ARE from LA and know cajun culture. Most Saints players are not from LA.

The Saints are the majority of Ole Miss fans favorite team, including myself. I don't think that bothers LSU fans though because we have given them some great players.

I understand that but for someone to say that NOLA has no Cajun influence is absurd.

Well in all honesty the group of native louisanans that fit this criteria probably outweighs the rest of the gulf region.

LSU has a ton of bandwagon fans and I'm sure Bama does too.

Not a fan of fair weather, bandwagon fans.

I'm a stiff dew kinda guy.

You have a very inflated view of how much Saints fans care about where Saints played college ball.

People here get touchy when the word "cajun" is used if you're not directly referencing the area around Lafayette. Maybe I should have used "Louisiana" culture.

The same people who will call LSU fans "coonasses" and pull out the Duck Dynasty references while rooting for a team whose fanbase is primarily made up of the same people are the kind of fans I'm talking about.

eta: You're from North Alabama. You're probably one of these people.

No.

This would require bama and auburn fans cheering side by side on sunday after cheering for each other's demise on saturday.

Does this not occur with LSU and Tulane fans?

Just out of curiosity do you mind me asking how you got your Auburn allegiance?
