Does it really bother LSU fans that some Bama/Aub fans are also Saints fans?

Just reminded of this from a thread a few months ago. Some LSU dude was all jimmie rustled that a lot of Bama fans, and presumably Auburn, Ole Miss, MSU etc are also Saints fans. I would assume there are a ton of Aubs who are Falcons fans. Does that bother UGA fans.

I don't mind it. But I do find it funny when they try to make fun of cajun culture when dealing with LSU fans but also cheer for the Saints.

No. It bothers me that Mark Ingram is still on the Saints roster though.

No, why would it? Not all Georgia fans are Falcon fans either.

It does beacuse it's a conflict of interest. The lsu first saints second portion of the fanbase hates Alabama more than they love the saints.

They're easy to spot though, they're the "trade our best back because he fumbled once this year Khiry Robinson will be a hall of famer" crowd

No, not really.

Unless they joined the bandwagon post Katrina b/c of Payton and Brees.

I've been a Saints fan since Bum Phillips roamed the sidelines.

No Mora Excuses, bitches.

There a Gulf Coast team and extend into that Miss and Mobile area. When you get into Fla they trend more to Tampa and Jacksonville. Have a lot of Falcon fans the closer you get to Atlanta. Northern LA has a lot of Cowboy fans.

Saints have always marketed to that area though. There was talk of trying to relocate or build a stadium in southern Miss at some point in time.

The Saints have always had good support but obviously the Sean Payton era has helped promote the team in other markets outside LA especially with fans moving out of New Orleans after Katrina and scattering throughout south. Now if the same could happen with the Pelicans but NBA is a different animal in south obsessed football culture.

I met some Alabama "fans" at the Missouri game in 2012 that have driven in from Chicago. They had never been to the South, let alone Alabama. They thought the accents and general culture was strange, but "lived" Alabama football.

Well in all honesty the group of native louisanans that fit this criteria probably outweighs the rest of the gulf region.

As a Cowboys fan and a LSU alum, I wanted to murder people in 2009 when the Saints and Tide won championships.
