IDK what Brennan will do and I think he needs to work on his touch some in intermediate passes. He has a cannon and throws everything like a rocket.

That said, Brennan is no stranger from the RPO offense. He set MS records in HS running the same/similar scheme.

quote:

In HS he Completed 275-of-399 passes for 3,982 yards with 48 touchdowns and only three interceptions as senior...Did not record an interception until the postseason of his senior campaign

quote:

A member of the Clarion Ledger's Dandy Dozen ... Amassed a 34-8 record in three seasons with 16,168 total yards and 188 total touchdowns

Not to burst your bubble, but Brennan will be the number one rated QB in the SEC come next November. Yes, I am an LSU fan, but I have compared the SEC QBs and with the weapons LSU has on offense, Brennan will be in the conversation as a top SEC QB very soon. No purple and gold glasses regarding my opinion, but Brennan has all the tools; no Joe Burrow, but who is? QB will not be an issue for LSU. Loaded with talent, but a team with a lot of youth and little experience, but as the season progresses, they will be a contender for the SEC. LSU is not going away.

I think he'll be similar to the one that throttled the Dawgs the last 2 years

Babe Ruth.

The current offense is the same one Brennan ran in HS when he threw for 48 TDs vs 3 INTs his SR season. Obviously we are far removed from HS, but consider 2018 Burrow ran a base offense with QB under center and had 16/5 TD/INT and once we moved to the RPO spread he recorded the best QB season in CFB history.

Brennan won't come close to Burrow's production, but I would not be surprised if he has the 2nd best season of a LSU QB. It's not a very high bar.

Georgia and LSU are SEC flagship programs with numerous similarities... georgia is LSU minus the national championships.

Is fromm a forgotten georgia QB... asking for a friend.

to me it doesn't matter if brennan is an elite QB as long as he can get the WR's the ball and let them do work.

LSU has had a transfer starting QB the last 4 seasons, they can't develop their own QB.

So yes MB will suck.

I've yet to see any LSU fans saying that Brennan will be the next Burrow. There won't ever be another Burrow

Wtf is a "Joe Brady offense"?
This.

He did not bring a ready made offense to LSU. It was a collaborative effort by the offensive staff that is largely still in place. Have you ever worked in a corporate team environment? Do you know what institutional knowledge is?

The important thing that people are missing on Ensminger/Brady is that Coach E has been in a similar situation before. At Auburn in 2003 he had four future first rounders and all he needed to do was keep running Petrino’s offense, success was a given.

I’m not going to go look up the records, but I’m sure it must have gone great.

If Brennan is an average starting QB LSU will still have a good offense. It’ll be closer to Mettenberger’s senior year than most other Les Miles’ seasons
