Holy shite, dude. I'm gonna need at least one tree somewhere within my viewing horizon. That place looks like the Middle East.

How do you get from Palos Verdes to USC in LA traffic? That looks like a long commute.

Good point

Looks like at least 45 minutes in ideal conditions.

With LA traffic

I would guess Oklahoma fans would be fine with him commuting by helicopter.

Yep, I had the perfect helicopter service I was going to recommend to him. They were top-notch, and they'd fly in any weather. But strangely, the company seems to no longer be listed.

I know you're from Texas, but do you not know what ocean looks like?

No doubt. For property tax alone he’s paying $100k a year.

My years in Southern Cal I never remembered a time when you would need fireplace.

I have a movie theater in my home. That's not a big deal these days. 13,000 square feet however, is a bit ridiculous.

Haha it's an acquired taste. It looks like it's void of life but it's absolutely loaded with wildlife and has more than 4 miles of spring fed river.

Between the ages of 6-8, I grew up in a house with 180 degree views of Catalina Island. Any view of the Pacific Ocean is great but it fades with time...I would rather have 17 square miles of Texas.

It's all about location. Real estate is expensive in CA, especially on the ocean. Makes my house seem like a damned bargain, and CO house prices suck. Personally I see it as a tax scam unless you are willing to move to a terrible location like Wyoming, Oklahoma, or Kansas

If I sell, where am I going to go that doesn't suck and is cheaper? Meanwhile, I'm paying three times what I originally paid in taxes just six short years ago. My friends in Monterey bought twenty years ago and are paying more than ten!

Maintenance and taxes are huge and they won’t use most of the house.

Most houses in Muleshoe where Riley grew up don’t have indoor plumbing. So this is probably too much for him to Even know what to do with it, ie where’s the outhouse……

He has gone Hollywood so football won’t happen, he already was soft now he is softer….

OSU is the only really difficult one here. USC can compete with the rest

Spoken as an ignorant hick. Much of the square footage is taken up in amenities. Movie room, wine room, etc ... I'm pretty certain they use more than you think. It's just a different style of life
