6 at the most. 1&2 get byes. Have quarters in lower Bowl games. Keep the semi finals as is.

This would be a better option if they are determined to increase.

If the bowls faded and it started the week following conference championship games. 1st seeders get a bye week.

You’re lucky to find 4 great teams, so no.

I don’t think we should be chasing upsets. Keep the middling teams in the bowls.

Not only hell no, but roll back the entire playoff.

Sure as hell would be easier but I still think 8 makes for more blowouts while the networks hope for the upset at the expense of injuries that shouldn’t be happening.

The alternative is some of those teams playing in a NY6 bowl.

I think you’d have more upsets. And with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma, it makes sense for the SEC as well.

It should go to 8, but don’t let shittty teams like Cincy in. You’re in a big 5 conference, or you’re not getting in. Simple as that.

It would keep players from opting out. What’s the difference between a bowl game and a playoff bowl game where everyone wants to play.

It would be fun and occasionally have upsets

What’s wrong with making the New Years six into a playoff bracket. That’s all it would be

Yes frick bama, they are the only pussies that don't want to go to 8 teams because they don't play fricking nobody other than their division opponents during the season because they're a bunch of fricking pussies

Only because UGA would make it almost every year. Most years there aren’t 4 worthy teams.

Yes. More playoffs and more meaningful games is fun to watch. I’m in the 12-16 camp.
