Yep, it's for good in the long run to have a correction in prices, which means recession and loss of jobs.
I will say though that if you really got every illegal immigrant out and slashed the H1B program you may could limit the loss of jobs for true Americans.
re: Would you consider a bridge loan to buy a home in this economy?

The problem for the seller is that who knows how long it will take to sell your house could be six months or longer unless you price it right, and then what happens if your buyers want a contingency on them selling their home? I wouldn't accept that contingency either in this stale market. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it was a hot market because they know your house would sell pretty fast

How big is your yard? Are we talking 1/2 acre or less or like 2 acres?

Letting us know what type of grass it is would be a start

The current commissioner has to be replaced. Get a new commissioner that will protect their biggest star. If it doesn't change in a year or two, Clark should start her own league
It's the most disappointing term for a president in a very long time

Unfortunately this plays in the hands of the communists as they have hard evidence in telling voters that Capitalism got greedy and we need a change
This is 100% correct. Inflation and the greed of literally everyone and every company is giving these groups everything they need to spread their message. Get the frick out of Iran and get oil down, deport every illegal alien, slash the H1B, and reform welfare aid to get prices back under control.

I agree with that from what I've been researching. Also was surprised at what seems to be how bad our guns were compared to the VC. How did with we make the POS that was the M-16?
Which is crazy in my mind but I wasn't alive at the time. What I mean is that why would the average person in the US care if a small Asian country turned communist? Doesn't seem like people in Britain, France, Germany, or any other country cared.

Watching Ken burn's documentary and one thing that stood out to me was it seems like a majority of the politicians and population wanted us to send troops and help the south Vietnamese. I guess I don't get why we were so worried that a small country in Asia was about to be over run by communists when the area over there was surrounded by communists. Just such an unnecessary amount of money and American lives from my Monday morning qb view

After looking at the forecast, I'm thinking about letting my grass go dormant. There is no rain in sight for central ms for the next 2 weeks and it's been 2 weeks or longer since the last time I've had rain. The last couple of summers have been ridiculous with the droughts.
Baseball peeps, a couple of questions regarding the dodgers/league
Posted by Civildawg on 8/2/26 at 1:18 pm
1. Why are the dodgers not having to share TV revenue? That seems like it's a major advantage.
2. Why has baseball not had a salary cap when all other major sports leagues do have one? Seems like implementing one shouldn't be too big of an issue.
3. What the heck is with the deferred contracts I keep hearing about with the Dodgers? Are they literally not having to pay the majority of the contract until years later?

I just checked my theater. Basically the only seats left for all showings today are the really bad seats way up in the front. Pretty crazy

Same here in central ms. Big system headed right towards us and then disappeared 2 miles before us. If we don't luck up and get rain today, it will be at least 4 weeks of no rain until we get another chance
Sounds like you need better air flow in your attic? Do you have vents or whirl birds?
re: Would you replace HVAC units?

I'm trying to look at it from the buyers perspective but I would not buy a house unless it was priced below comps with 2 AC units that are nearly 20 years old. That's a huge expense that is about to occur in the next couple of years
