that is the fricking reason Alabama was placed number 3 in the poll, unlike Clemson... The committee said it themselves

We are on a message board. We are reacting to the media/fan campaign that started from the second the game ended. People are saying it here too. This thread is asking us about it.
It isn't that complicated. That's what we are talking about. Just admit that you fired from the hip and overreacted here and the move the frick on. Its just silly at this point.

Ok let's take a step back and let you mental midgets have some exercise. Lets' say LSu wins out and bama finishes 11-1. All else holds serve (my big caveat I've continued to say). You'd have:

13-0 SEC Champion LSU
13-0 Big 10 Champion OSU
12-1 Big 12 Champion Oklahoma
13-0 ACC Champion Clemson
12-1 Pac12 Champion Oregon

11-1 non-division winner Alabama

I would LOVE to hear y'alls justification for not only which of the above teams is getting bumped to let bama in, but the reason for it. Keep in mind, that in history this scenario has never happened. So this would be the first time, so surely you have an outstanding reason for it. So go ahead and educate me.

then I don't even need to fool with you anymore if you put that much stock in the media or even worse, fans.

have you seen the people that post here? Half of them are teenagers

I'm actually posting data and facts based on things that have literally happend in the past. You're posting based on what someone who is paid to generate clicks and ad revenue has told you to think.

You're not worth wasting the time anymore.

There is no way Alabama makes the playoff in that scenario.

The ONLY way Alabama has a shot with the least amount of chaos is if Oklahoma and Baylor split and basically kick out the B12 and Alabama beats the pulp out of Auburn (and Auburn probably will have needed to have beaten Georgia).

Then you have a 12-1 Oregon who lost to Auburn vs a 11-1 Alabama who crushed Auburn on the road for the final spot. That is the ONLY way that this becomes a semi interesting situation (outside of chaos in the P12 and the B12 or Clemson losing or whatever other crazy stuff we aren't really talking about here).

Don't control it.

Weird shite happens every year.
Bama will have one quality win this year if they beat Auburn. They have a piss poor resume but they get points for their past.

Yes...in basketball and baseball. No way possible we sweat those easy W’s. Their programs outside of football are back alley abortions.

Who you think it will be? Bama is only gonna drop to 5 or 6. They lost to the best team in the country by less than a possession.

I hope you think UGA is getting in so we can have a big laugh together

This seems to be the consensus amongst our players and fans.

I never want to play any good team twice. It gives the other team- any team- a psychological edge. And I always want a rematch with anybody that has beaten my team. This is sports psychology 101. Page two of the manual.

Alabama doesn't deserve the playoffs, and LSU was clearly better offensively, at a minimum having a better quarterback and offensive coaching. A couple of huge errors by Stingley resulting in wide open receivers and a released stop on a punt return made the game look closer on the stat sheet and scoreboard than it actually was.

As far as psychology goes, I would like to point out that sometime the better team proves that they're better convincingly in a rematch: 1999, 2003, and 2010 SEC championships are examples. I don't hope for Alabama to make the playoffs because Saturday's game made it apparent that the team doesn't have coordinators or a defense that are championship caliber. If through some major luck, Alabama and LSU got a rematch, I wouldn't be surprised if a healthy LSU won by three or more scores.

Actually A1abana would be the easy win, considering Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon.

Sure. As reward for beating them in their home stadium, get to play an extra game, while their “punishment” is to not have to play another game and rest up.

You just gonna ignore the Big 12 and Pac 12 champs? Which will both most likely have 1 loss at most?

I’d be pissed that them getting in prevented a deserving team from playing, but would relish beating them twice.

4 pages of not caring, wonder how many replies we'd see if anyone cared. Alabama will get in whether they deserve it or not. LSU is better this year, but the universe would not allow LSU to beat them twice in a season. Seen this movie before.
