Did SEC teams recruiting/taking athletes back from NFL minicamps that then turned around

and voted against taking kids back from NFL minicamps open themselves up to lawsuits for misleading these athletes when they never intended to allow them back?
Why did they recruit and accept their commitments and then vote to ban them?

Yep, and that's why I've been saying that LSU will likely face a lawsuit if they back out of any agreement with these ex-NFL players. LSU has backed themselves into a corner over this stupidity.

Does this mean I should sue any company who doesn't hire me because they've infringed on my right to work?

So if 16 of the top companies in your industry decided to collude and blacklist you in defiance of a court order, you'd be cool with that?

I would be against a court thinking it has the authority to tell a company it has to hire me to start with.
So yes, 100%.
Private businesses should be able to hire whoever they want for any reason they want.
It's not a coincidence that as lawyers and courts got involved things went to shite.

I wouldn’t have much ground to stand on if there were 60 similar companies that didn’t collude, plus an additional 32 companies who also didn’t collude.

1. The court is not forcing a team to hire a player. They are forcing the NCAA to rule a group of players eligible. The SEC is now trying to scramble and rule those players ineligible.
2. Private businesses haven't since at least the 1960s had the freedom to hire (or not hire) whoever they want for any reason they want. There are these things called discrimination laws.

Oddly enough, there are several companies that want to hire these people, but are not being allowed to and threatened with punishment if they do. I agree with you that they should be able to hire them.
I think they were coerced into voting a certain way. Their true intentions were made known when they recruited these athletes and either signed them or attempted to sign them.
