Possibly so in some cases. I still think cops use judgment with laws like this in most cases

Should I be subject to dui if I walk out of the bar to get something out of my car?
That would be Public Intoxication.

Poor old Da'Shawn. He was probably just tired. Just needed a nap. Bless his heart.

The car was running. It don't matter if he was parked in the middle of a pond.

Although there was that 1 cop a decade ago that had the Auburn vanity plate. He may have been out to get players.

Getting drunk and sleeping off the alcohol in the car is the commendable thing to do compared to trying to drive home. I am a tPOS and have done both many times though. Not really sure I can bash Hand except for his underwhelming career as former number one recruit (Yes I know, Cowart is headed that way but he was in the wrong position.)

The Bama laws sees it the same.

However, you are lying to yourself that the discipline from the coach should be the same

You gotta admit he's been playing behind a very stacked DL.

The fricking car was running. Dumbass

The article I read only said that the keys were "in the car". It did not say anything about the car running or that the keys were in the ignition.

Guys don't let them distract you from the real question at hand (pun intended) here.

Was the car a Challenger or Charger? That's all that really matters. All the rest is just pure distractions.

You said they got arrested for the same thing while mentioning discipline time as it relates to football.

They did not get arrested for the "same thing" as it relates to how discipline will he handled internally.

Also, your boy was charged with underage possession as well.......So even the charges werent the same, podnuh
