Good call. Let's punish people for actively trying to not drink and drive

We dont know though. That is why this is in the law

Hand may have drank at that apt, so he chose to sleep it off-Good call

He also may have driven fricked up to that apt then passed out-bad call

There is no way for an officer to tell. That is why it is a law.

the better question is why would you sleep in the drivers seat.

Headlights turn on automatically in almost if not all newer cars. If he was drunk it makes more sense he didn't think to turn them off and just started the car for the AC.

The kid was in the wrong it appears. Everything else is just speculation. Good news is no one was hurt, and he will hopefully have learned a valuable lesson.

What level of intoxication would it take to not override the automatic headlight system, so as to not call attention to oneself?

The ball's in your court, Mr. Mason.

The same kind that makes you think sleeping in your car over calling 1/150 teammates or uber to pick you up is wise, Mr. Dumbass

Being in the drivers seat is stupid. But you should be allowed to sleep in the back no problem. Should I be subject to dui if I walk out of the bar to get something out of my car?

He plays for Saban. They get stickers for their helmets for each crime committed to keep count. He will get his sticker and play like nothing happened.

I think the law is stupid. However, I do think cops use judgment most of the time.

My guess, is Hands car was parked like a fricking blind Chinese woman parked it, so they assumed he drove it there hammered.

Every single fanbase says their police are out to get their players, while all the other fanbases say the cops in the town protect the players.....

So you're inferring that a blind Chinese woman would park a car worse than a woman of a different race?....really man?

I don't think they are out to get players. I just think they are incompetent.
