I agree. Kiffin, and LSU fans in general, sure did thump their chests a lot just to very quietly back down in the waning moments.

No please!!1! Please don’t expel us!!1!!

Good. Enforce rules on a school that didn't break said rules.

When did Kiffin or LSU “thump their chest”? Be specific because they’ve both been fairly quiet throughout this whole process.

It's procedural so SEC can have its own rules enforced outside of NCAA in the future. They know the NCAA can't win against TRO's but SEC wants self governance

The French tried to surrender again after stirring all the trouble up.

You’d be having tea and crumpets at 3pm on a daily basis if it weren’t for the french, pal.

I also tried telling people this is a power grab by the SEC, and they don’t want to hear it.

The SEC is trying to fill the void left by the NCAA with regards to enforcing rules.

“They’re just trying to enforce their own rules”. Nah, they’re looking to become judge, jury and executioner. No member should want this, but they can’t see past their desire to punish LsU and Kiffin to realize what they’re actually supporting.

This is not going to go the way the SEC is hoping it will go.

So what's actually happening here is the conference is using LSU as a use case to push its independent governance desires. Really has shite to do with LSU, its just an opportunistic pathway for the SEC to pursue existing desires. That's why they're pushing this shite so hard.

I didn’t even post on this entire website from January 31 to September 2. What are you even talking about?

Pretty much every legal opinion I have seen says this case by the SEC is written extremely sloppy and it’s a Hail Mary attempt

I actually want the sec to win the case to self govern, but it looks like a long shot

Lane literally said weeks ago he was in daily communication with the league and would “absolutely” follow the current SEC eligibility rules unless reversed
