So we just roll with what we have and give power to people who’ve proven they don’t deserve it and can’t properly manage it?
Yeah, no thanks on that.

Barrett is as clueless as the Tennessee grandma that you have all hitched your wagons to. Kiffin has said from the beginning and throughout that he would comply with the SEC’s wishes . AND HE DID. The NCAA ruled the players eligible not Kiffin or LSU. The SEC pushed back on the NCAA ruling and Kiffin did as he had stated throughout this mess and complied with the SEC wishes. Why fault him or LSU for exploring a path for those players to play based off of the NCAA ruling? In the end LSU complied with the SJWEC.
As a bama fan what I find odd is that your school and fans have hitched your wagon to the Tennessee grandmothers wishes and guidance.

Y’all must be truly terrified of Kiffin at Lsu!

Yes, if the alternative is giving coaches free reign to sign a bunch of 26 year old pro washouts.

The SEC is allowing NFL and NBA washouts to be rostered already.
They’re just choosing which ones they will allow and which ones they won’t. Again, selective enforcement is one of the primary reasons the NCAA has been kneecapped.

Thinly veiled and poorly executed attempt at plausible deniability by colluding with and enlisting the court system to fight your battle. That’s the entirety of the reason you’re currently sitting alone in the corner you’re in. Nobody’s buying it.

Yes.
I also manually add the bold and italics. It’s the extra effort that sets me apart.

My understanding of their new rule is that this will not be allowed moving forward. Is that not correct?

If we take the current LSU situation out of it, this still needs to be done. If a conference cannot regulate its members, the last vestige of college football is gone.
Sadly, I agree with you that most of it is already gone, but this is where we are.

They’re already trying to retroactively punish LSU.
So, again, it’s another issue of selective enforcement.

How does the Tennessee grandmothers tits taste as a Bama fan? Boy we are living in the upside down when Bama fans are guided by this nonsense.

No enforcement has happened at all, for one thing, but is it also not entirely possible that this was just the straw that broke the camel’s back? Forget Lane Kiffin. LSU’s basketball program is staking their entire roster construction strategy on former pros.

Not yet. They’re begging a court to let them enforce their rules though. Only not against the teams actually breaking their rules, only the one who thought about breaking it a little more than the rest.

Most former “European pros” which the SEC has said is fine.

Those schools just aren’t challenging them in court. There is no indication those players will be allowed an exception to the SEC’s rule. Their respective governors just aren’t publicly thumbing their nose at the conference.
Those schools voted in favor of the new rule and enforcement.

Every team in this league is paying millions for players.
They are ALREADY pros.
This fake outrage is fricking hilarious to watch.

LSU hasnt challenged anyone in court. LSU was enjoined as a defendant by the players in their lawsuit.

They already have been granted an exception to their rule. What do you think TRO stands for?
I’ll go ahead and mark you down as another who believes LSU encouraged a lawsuit against itself. I’m disappointed, you seemed smarter than that.

The SEC didn’t fight against restraining orders in their states. No reason for them to do anything.

LSU voted for and abstained, and were sued for it.
