I tagged this debate because I think there actually is room for discussion. I know everyone wants to crown MSU as "King Loser" due to Toledo, but hear me out:

- Who will be the worst team at the END of this year? Take into account projected growth during the year, schedule, end of year record, etc.

I think it could very well be Auburn, Vandy, Miss State, in that order. Florida is a dark horse here to upset all three.

It's MSU, and it's not close.

Mississippi State but Auburn is a close second. It is a bad time to be terrible.

First off, let me say I'm honored as a Hog fan to not even be in consideration. Having said that, we will likely find a way to shite the bed when we go to Starkville this year. Seems we always find a way to clench defeat from the jaws of victory against MSU, no matter how terrible they are.

That’s inaccurate. Auburn is a very good football team. If they didn’t have a prodigious ability to turnover the football, this team would be middle of the pack or upper tier. Very good, young WR room, fast and aggressive defense, and think they’ll be a threat in the next couple of years when they can get past the growing pains.

But agree on MSU. That is a hopeless football team and being an OU fan and watching Lebby I don’t see that changing. He’s inept.

MSU by a mile

Auburn is pretty good, when they limit turn overs to 1 or 0. Against an average defense Auburn will win.

Florida who knows….

Ms State. Although I think Lebby is making chicken salad out of chicken shite, which bodes well for their future.

In total agreement.

Excluding the QB position, Auburn is more talented overall and its players generally have a tougher mindset than the players at Tennessee – and the Vols are generally considered Top 3 in the SEC.

The Tigers will probably continue to lose close games due to questionable coaching decisions and the inability to hang onto the football in critical situations.

If you’re looking for a team whose wheels could fall off quick I’d suggest checking out ole miss at usce this Saturday. They lose that game and I think the team packs it in. Heard playoff talk all year and the team is loaded with mercenaries, I mean transfers

Auburn is halfway respectable. If they had a QB that was worth a damn they’d probably be unbeaten.

They'd have definitely beat Arkansas 9/9 times if we played that many more times this season.

I don’t think you understand just how bad State’s defense is…. We had a GOOD defensive game against Texas relative to prior results and still gave up 35 points and 523 yards.

Offensively we have a bad OL, a true freshman starting QB, and two healthy scholarship RB’s.

If we win an SEC game this year then whatever coach we beat should be fired on the spot.

Auburn likely played the best game it will play this year prior to the pick 6 against OU and was still only up 4 against a true frosh QB making his first start. It's a middle of the road SEC team at best with some nice talent in certain places.

That said, middle of the road is better than MSU right now.

So the team that beat you at home without particularly great QB play is less talented/tough than the team you beat on the road a week later?

We should have given your ancestors more blankets you retarded sooner frick.

Y’all keep fighting as hard as you did against Texas and some wins will come. I’m was impressed with the effort and intensity even as the game got out of hand.

Does Cal have an elite defense?
