There is no error. Alabama, according to Google, has 27 SEC titles.

Kentucky has Forty. fricking. Nine.

Alabama Football has more national titles, though, even if you take a few away. Just sayin’.

Plus, football is the flagship sport, so Alabama Football is the flagship athletic program in SEC history.

I’m pretty sure Auburn knocking Kentucky’s arse out of the last NCAA tourney is 100% fact.

This thread is a reminder that no matter how insufferable and entitled Alabama football fans are Kentucky basketball fans are that much worse.

Yeah, I was just trying to have a discussion about UK basketball having one of those "sun don't shine on the same dogs arse all of the time"seasons. It was not an attempt to start anything, and this rectalhead gets all indignant and aloof about it. i can just see the guy speaking in a British accent with one of those stupid looking royalty hats on

Tennessee women's basketball? No.

You are smoking crack if you think the Lady Vols haven't dominated the SEC in a way that only Alabama Football has. More final 4 appearances, same number of championships in 1300 fewer games, plus a better winning percentage.

Lady Vols
1283–299 (.811)
Final 4 - 22
Championships - 8

Kentucky
2,237-672 (.765)
Final 4 - 17
Championships - 8

I hope the KY "fans" in Rupp Arena are soooooo upset about the 1-6 start they actually spill their wine onto their cheese and stain their ascots.

I already addressed this.

If Kentucky were awarded national titles throughout the sports history based on the same criteria used in football all this time, we would have well over 30. Id love to have national polls be the criteria.

It isn't. If Alabama had to compete in a real playoff this entire time, realitynis you probably have less titles.

As to the Tennessee fan, you're right. The Lady Vols did dominate. Well said.

As for Auburn, yes I was drunk but stand by what I said. With all due respect we're discussing basketball and Auburn is here trying to offer Kentucky a sympathy shoulder? frick all that.

Calipari is beholden to the NBA draft and does whatever he needs to do so that he looks good on that one night. He won’t okay guys that he doesn’t see as legitimate NBA players unless forced to do so. Meanwhile he’s got a team full of bricklayers whole guys who transferred out of there are lighting it up elsewhere.

Recent national titles or being one of the last 4 teams in the hunt at the end of the season begs to differ doesn't it? Even in Bamas worst years they don't have anything that resembles a 1-6 start to a football season.

"I'm drunk, but please my fellow Big Blue brethren, tell me, am I out of line here?"

Yes. While your facts are correct, you could have been more polite with your initial response. Something like, I hope you are right and we getter better because we are a train wreck right now. This isn't a time to be arrogant or dwell on the past. It is a time to eat crow, be humble and keep a low profile. Burd is a pretty good dude.

What happened last season, was last season. Remember that.
