Just emailed this to the LSU coaches. This info should be worth at least 7 pts for LSU Saturday.

Nice of Gary to start laying the foundation for why Alabama shouldn't be dinged by the playoff committee if they lose to LSU.

The game hasn’t even started yet and we already have people politicking for them just in case they lose. I can already see the narrative. LSU beats Alabama but it was because Tua wasn’t 100 percent. Boom Alabama backs there way into the playoffs.

You guys are really paranoid. He said Tua doesn't look right and you think it's in an effort to get them in the playoffs if they lose? TDS

I doubt that danielson saying tua isn't 100% means lsu is now going to scrap their gameplan and expect mac jones to start instead. He isn't saying anything that peopel don't alreay know, and lsu is plannign for tua regardless.

He is giving injury reports that maybe Alabama does not want out there. He has the right to speculate about it, but if he is allowed to watch practice he should not report it to the public.

And 23 corny dogs rejoice with the upvotes for the OP. They know Tua’s injury gives them their only hope

Well I think Danielson is telling the truth, nobody can ever say he doesn't pump Bama, and with good reason, they have been the dominate team in the SEC. However, I am with you, i heard him saying this on SEC this morning with Burns and Chris Doering as I was driving in and I am like man should he be saying this. TV media have the right to get access per SEC contract but I also think they can't disclose stuff like this to the public. So I think this might be something that comes up at next years meetings, if not sooner.

This is the most obvious and non-newsworthy piece I’ve read in a while. The kid had ankle surgery recently so it’s common damn sense to expect him to not be 100%.

Water is also wet, Gary.

However, there is something different about the public speculating that he is not 100%, which is in reality is in fact true. The public can, based on the injury speculate that Tua is not 100%. It is another thing for Gary to go to practice on Thursday and say definitively there is no way he is 100% and no way he will be on Saturday. Those two things, while correlated, are distinct. The public is pure speculation. Gary D is reporting something that the public can't and is not allowed to see. Two different things.

I don't like GD for a long list of reasons.
This however takes the cake. He has no business reporting on the condition of any player he sees as an invited guest.

Conspiracy theorists will say that this is an elaborate plan orchestrated by Saban and the information is meant to mislead LSU.

No. He's calling the game Saturday so he's been around the teams leading up to the game. Will this be your first broadcast to watch this weekend?
