He’s a fricking moron.

Miami is going to be another train wreck.

He’s going to be out on the market again in 4 years.

He could be a HC in 2 tops at Alabama. Not at Alabama but somewhere

Almost every person contacted for this story agreed that anyone who thinks the Tide is vulnerable in the wake of this turnover, from bringing in six new assistants last off-season to what could be as many as seven new assistants this off-season, coupled with the fact Saban is coming off his most lop-sided defeat at Alabama, is going to be very disappointed.

He'll look back on this and say, "what the frick was I thinking?"

I am gonna say a prayer that there is a thread coming soon that says someone catfished Saban. That would be the real kill shot.

If I had to guess, and that is what we are all doing here, guessing...

I'd say that Dan was hoping for the OC gig at Alabama, especially with everyone saying he was the anointed one. And the offer didn't come, and it didn't come, and... he got tired of waiting for it.

Saban waited a bit too long to pull the trigger. For whatever reason. Which left Dapper Dan, the QB Man, thinking "what if Saban doesn't give me the gig and I'm left here holding my dick?"

Lets not forget Dan Enos went from OC to "oh geez where is my next job?" just a year ago. So he gets an offer from Miami and jumps on it. He'll get about three years to turn things around there. At a decent salary.

If Saban wanted to keep him he should have said so a few weeks ago.

I'm not saying Saban is a worthless toolbag. I'm saying that he waited a bit longer then he should have and this time it bit him in the butt. Saban is still on the Mt. Rushmore of college coaches but this time he stepped on his dick.

He must be a miserable prick to work for if he is getting disrespected like this.

No exactly breaking news that Saban is a demanding boss. However, by all accounts he is well-respected and highly regarded throughout college and pro football. Enos skipping town with his tail between his legs and not having the stones to tell his boss he was taking another opportunity may come back to bite him in the arse.

Is it really “kicking” when they are only about a foot off the ground?

I am sure Dan Enos will be tossing and turning at night, wondering if he will hear the dreaded "Oompa Loompa, doompa doo, Nick Saban is mad at you."

Saban copulated with the canine. If he wanted Enos then he should have said so weeks ago. He didn't and now Enos is gone. Hopefully Dan Enos will be able to wipe away his tears with all the money he's getting at Miami.

As I have said... Saban is on the Mt. Rushmore of college coaches but in this case if he really wanted Dan to hang around it would have been good for him to have said so. This is on Saban and Saban alone.

I’m not saying your lying, but where is your proof he had not been named.

None of us know shite about it. If he was promoted to OC it is weird that Alabama had not announced it. Maybe they had some reason to wait though.

Saban has made some questionable hiring decisions in the last few years...from Kiffin, to promotion of Tosh, to hiring Pete Golding, to what’s his name now at Maryland, to not securing Enos...

Maybe he’s finally losing it a bit.

the guy was a good OC at Arkansas, and he was an excellent qb coach at Alabama. I don't know about the head coach there, but I bet Enos will do well for himself, and nobody will give a shite about checking out without a lot of drama. I agree with the guy that said Saban should have given him the job weeks ago.
