Let's see if Oats apologizes like Houston did

Oats displayed great sportsmanship with his desire to shake hands after a tough and physical game.
Houston tried to start a riot.
Not really sure what you’re getting at here or where an apology from Oats is warranted. I think you’re just still upset that he pointed at your team of scrubs last year after beating them.

How could the refs just run off the court like that? Sampson had to chase them down to try to get an explanation. It was a heated moment.
It was certainly not good sportsmanship to stand there and make a big spectacle out of it like Oates did. He got a bit too smug, and he should know that he could easily have been on the other end of a controversial call.

He has been before, he reacted in a similar way and he wouldn't give a shite what the other coach did. That's who he is. We're all perfectly ok with it.

Who is Dan Dakich?
Asks the Alabama fan new to basketball lol
The irony of treating this guy like some kind of guru when his only HC gig was for a school that hasn't made the NCAA tournament since 19-fricking-68 is apparently lost on a guy like you.
From his Wikipedia page...
"In October 2019, Dakich was suspended from his show for failing "to adhere to the journalistic principles valued by" Emmis Communications, which owns WFNI.
Hey pal, if you want to act like this guy is some kind of guru, go right ahead. You do you.

and the rest of the story is that Kelvin Sampson called and apologized to Nate Oats and Greg Byrne for his behavior.

Refs run off the court when the game ends. Every. Single. Game.
Sampson isn't entitled to an explanation for why they didn't call something that didn't happen.

Have to agree with Dakich here. What Sampson did isn't unusual. Oats seemed petty by standing there with his hand out. Should have greeted the assistants and gone to the locker room.

A coach chasing officials out of the arena isn't unusual? bullshite.

Pretty simple here. If you win you can tell players on the opposing team after an amazing game to GTFO or you can smugly stand there with your hand out knowing you would probably do exactly what Sampson did if the shoe had been on the other foot. Bottom line if you win you can be an a-hole.

Nailed it. This guy is a fricking douche bag of the highest order. And he seriously might have one of the most punchable faces I’ve ever seen. I cannot wait for him and The General to go at it. Wade will let our play do the talking.
