I’m not much of a Dan Dackich fan, but what I do know, he would probably be really happy to get in Oats face. If you ever saw him play, you know he wouldn’t back down.

He's an idiot. This isn't his first brush with stupid. Why is he talking to me? Talk to Nate Oats. He has connections.

I'd like to hear Dakich's take on the subject had it been the black coach awaiting to shake the opposing white coach while he berates the refs.

Dan would know what a punk. He shutdown Jordan in Mike's final college game and has a national championship ring under one of the most difficult coaches ever, Bobby Knight.

So yeah he definitely has the credentials to speak.

I’m sure every person who has had a successful and long career knows someone in our industry who was pretty good at their job forty years ago, but has gone a little crazy and isn’t worth listening too any longer.

People would have shite on Nate Oats if he didn't try to shake Sampson's hand.

Yeah. But Oats was definitely fricking with them a little bit. And it was hilarious. Even more so, seeing trolls get mad about it.

Sampson and his crew acted like crazed maniacs after the game - grabbing officials, breaking chairs, turning over trashcans. Oats, while witnessing this maniacal behavior, dared to ... stand a little too long in the handshake line waiting for OU coaches to join.

Sure, Dan Dakich, Oats is the "punk" in this situation.

I mean, I guess I can see why it upset people a little, but what's crazy is everyone on this board is crazy about what Oats did and calling him out but I see very few even mentioning the behavior of the Houston players and coaches. FWIW, I had heard that Oats originally went to shake hands with one of the assistants and he put his hands behind his back and walked away. I mean, is that not kind of punkish behavior as well? If you are gonna call one side out, shouldn't you call the other side out as well?
